I want to get a air/fuel gauge for my Zed. It says in the instructions that I have already that it should connect to the wiring harness with just one wire. Can anyone tell me the O2 sensor wire to connect to from the harness? Also .. as the Zed uses narrowband O2 sensors can I just replace the sensors to wideband ones? I really wan't the gauge to work with a wideband sensor obviously. All your help appreciated as always fellas.

Apologies to Daz-zed. For some reason I thought you just had TPFT. Must have got mixed up with another post. I see your point Zevans. I guess having another car does help if you can then put your Zed on a classic policy, saves you ££££££

I relocated mine into the cpmpartment behind the handbrake. Fit in there nicely and out of site. I can see what is going on with my boost guage anyways.

Of course it is worth telling them FFS ... It will invalidate your insurance and they arent that fookin stupid. And while I am at it ... why are you on TPFT? .. If you can't afford the fookin insurance what are you doing driving a zed FFS? ... I am amazed at the amount of people driving around with TPFT ... that is soooooo fookin scary .... At leat you have some sort of insurance I suppose .....

TBH .. You will probably just wrap it round a tree anyways ... even if it is a NA ... But if you can find anyone to insure you just be sure you take it easy until you get the feel of the car ... nothing worse than reading about another young person killled on the road ... Good luck.

Thanks guys. I have set my AFC to 0 because I didn't wan't to mess with it TBH. John do you remember that chip I had in my car before your special? I remember looking at the maps with you and at the time you said it was a very aggressive set up. Thinking really of ditching the AFC. Would it be possible to come up and see you John at some point so you could have a look at what is going on with the car? It runs brilliantly with no det but would like to know if someone has messed with the timing previously when I had the original agressive chip and maybe it needs to be sorted. I am running slightly rich judging by the black deposits in the exhausts.
