y aren't computers reliable ?
ROTFLMAO .. Now that is funny.. nice 1 Roy Computers running windows are unreliable (FACT) Linux, redhat etc are in a different league. Open source is becoming much more widely used by businesses and along with that comes more reliability, less cost but skilled TechAdmin. Windows sucks cock for crack money!

FAO: Website designers/gurus
Hi Danny 1) Should be able to help you with this PM me 2) You could make different versions of the website however this is not necessary. I hand code all the websites that I design and only use dreamweaver etc if I really feel it is needed. You should really start designing the site with all the top browsers in mind IE6+ IE5, Netscape 7, Mozilla, Opera. Just get versions of all these browsers. Try not to use tables in the layout of your website, use valid CSS instead. Accessibility is becoming a massive issue and you really should make sure the website meets AA Accessibility standards. It is law now in the UK and you could get taken to court regarding accessibility especially for a e-commerce website. 3) You are not talking out of you arse, this is easily possible ATBH you should make a fluid design rather than a fixed pixel design, but again don't use tables unless they are linearized and understandable from a speech browser (Jaws). Go for a minimum of 800*600 resolution .. that would mean a width of 760 pixels (max) 4) fixed window size is not a problem PM and I will give you some code. If you need any help just shout mate .... Do you regret posting a thread??
Isn't it the pling underneath the avatar? 'Report Bad Post' In answer to Daves post: Having been an avid fan of the club and 300's I read most posts on the board. I must admit I have been tempted to say a few things that I may have regretted, but I usually try to think before I press the ol button. I am not saying that you shouldn't post what your first thoughts are about a post or subject but just take the time to think. As they say .. 'don't put your mouth into motion before your brain is in gear'

Mot £35
That didn't come out right. I meant that if a garage can afford to do a correct MOT for a lower price then that is great. I don't see why I should pay £45 notes for a MOT, aren't we allowed healthy competition anymore either? I think we get screwed enough in this fooked up country and I am getting pissed off with it. I don't give a toss where garages get their money from as long as it isn't ripping of the motorist at every turn.
-
Mot £35
I think it really comes down to ethics Some garages have them .. some don't .. cost is immaterial
-
Mot £35
Errrrr OK .. why?
