Dave .. I have a problem with mine. I got mine wired up to the brake lamps through a relay etc ... When I put them on whilst driving, not stationary it blows the lights fuse in the footwell. I am guessing that he wired in the earth from the switch to the lights circuit mistaking it for the earth .. any ideas? I need to take a look at the w/e but any thoughts would be appreciated. Chris
  5. The best way to check it is to have a bloody good look underneath the car. It isn't very expensive to get done anyways.
  6. I'm not worried about cruise as I don't have it mate but I do want to keep the Hicas so I guess I will have to bite the bullet.

  10. I am defo going to try a mines chip just to see the difference. Should be interesting. My original chip wasn't stock and it was a jap one but it was really agressive so was removed. Chris
  11. Prob not to do with the wheels then mate .. maybe Mike is right ..... I am not a Zed specialist but I am sure someone will come up with an answer for you ....
  12. cheers Mac .. any idea of the cost mate? search isn't my friend tonight.
  13. The only reason I asked about spacers is I used to get judder until I fitted really good hubcentric spacers .. then all was cool... strange but defo true ....
  14. I think it could be the bushes ... Do you have aftermarket wheels? .. spacers? ... Hubcentric or cheapos?
  15. Can someone tell me where I can get a boss for this wheel? and the cost? I wan't to retain the hicas ;-) Cheers Chris

  18. I got mine from Harrys 585 Cca but mine is an import so not much help to you. Just make sure the CCA is about the same. There is a lot of posts on batteries so you may find it useful to do a search. HTH Chris
  19. Nice 1 Ryan .... That explains it better. So who has a Mines chip I can try out then? :D
  20. I would like to hear what John D has to say re the mines and JWT chip. If the mines is better then fair enough but I would like to know exactly why it is apparently better. Where is John when you need him . LOL
  21. Alright Pete .. This my help mate .. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=38362&highlight=afc
  22. LMFAO .. No I wont be mate. I do have a AFC so I reckon that other bit of kit would be the mutts, especially to aid tuning. Will probably get one soon then get the girl up to Thor or JD. Cheers Chris
  23. It is an excellent bit of kit. I will defo consider it in the future. Using the narrowband sensors on the Zed with a air/ fuel gauge. Is it a complete waste of time? or will it give me a fairly accurate reading?
  24. Cheers Andy ... Hmmmm ... not sure if it is worth using then? What do you think?
  25. OK .. search is my friend and I know where to place the wire in the harness. But how do I get the gauge to work with a wideband sensor? Cheers
