I have just joined the forum after recently buying a jap spec 300zx TT Tbar Manual. Thought I got it at a good price, 4,750. But now I know there was a reason for that. It has a few mods, twin blow off valves, turbo timer, single exit exhaust, 17" rims (the main reason I brought it, they're lovely) and a speedo that reads up to 300mph!!!! Just had it fully serviced, cam belt and plugs etc, couple of dents fixed and the front tie bar bushes and centre prop bush replaced as well as a cat 1 alarm. A nice bill of 2,700 for my trouble, gulp.
My question is that it has a quick shift gear lever fitted which is quite difficult to get into gear. Is this normal because it is not an easy gear change. It's booked into SE Nissan at the end of the month so hopefully they will know but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also would anyone recommend SE Nissan, seen them in a couple of articles so expectations are high. Cheers for any help.
