  1. It could have ben me. I was coming up to the width restriction on Lowfield road and nother Zed was coming the other way. I was amazed to see how easily your car goes over the centre of the restriction without grounding, mines a be-atch going over that. W could have our own little Jap cruise by Budgens.

Didn't do anything to mine other than get the aerial lead and its a pucker reception, using a JVC head unit, silver if that makes a difference.
  9. The best thing you can do is fit grey tweed seats. No point messing about with leather. If you want ill swap you my grey tweed interior for your nasty leather one!!
  10. How on earth did you get 350 miles out of a full tank!! Was it on a low loader for a hundred of them????

  13. It would have to breast implants. Well, you never said it would have to be about the car!!!
  14. You mean when im older, I get to stick it in them instead!!!!!!!
  15. I don't know what some people mean when they say the ZX is dangerous in the wet and snow. When it snowed earlier this year I took the Z for a spin and, not being big headed, I had some awesome sideways action going round bends and turnings. At no point did I feel out of control or I could lose it. I think the Z is a very well balanced machine that copes with drifting brilliantly. I used to own an XR4i and that was very bad in the wet also a Manta GTE, much better but still not as good as the Z. I agree that you should find an empty car park though, give me a call if you do cos it's wicked fun. Long live the Sideways Action, or so my girlfriend always says!!!!
  16. SmartNav is the best I have come acros, avoids traffic jams, takes you to places of interest as well, also loads of other features, nearest petrol station to your location, if you break down it will connect you with your recovery company, if your car gets nicked it can locate it for you. Got it fitted on my companies car, amazing how accurate it is. Retail is £499 plus fitting, you can either pay 89 pence per route, £120 a year for unlimited routes or £350 for five years. You can also move it from car to car. Can't rave abot it enough, gonna get one for mine.

It does alter the camber, it does scrub the tyres, it makes it an arse to drive round town over potholes, speedhumps become you sworn enemy and you will have to see a chyropracter after a few hundred miles. But it does make the car look and handle a lot better, easier to control a drift as it stays flatter. Do it.
  19. Its called Track And Text.
  20. Theres another system that's similair to this on the market but better. You don't need a computer just your mobile. If someone moves your car it sends you a text to warn you. You can text it at any point and it will tell you the address and postcode that its at and the best thing is that you can wire it in to any electronic part of your car such as the fuel pump and at any given moment send it a text and it will switch it off. My advice is wait untill their on the motorway and then kill the power. Its marketed by a company called S.A.S. and I think the price is around the £500 mark. It's a more sophisticated unit. I can get more info if anyone wants it.
  21. In my experience a coat of black paint always increases the power. :smw:
  22. I'll be there if it's on. :xxx:
  23. It was a complete clutch. It had a performance one fitted before which encompassed a clutch and flywheel combined so when it had a standard one fitted they fitted a second hand flywheel at the same time. Is this something I should take up with the garage that did the work?
  24. Is that the same as the centre prop bearing? If it is then I had it changed last June, done about 3000 since then so hope it hasn't gone again.
  25. oops, wrong area, moved to technical. Sorry. :D
