WOW! I've bought one yesterday from a guy on eBay for £89 and it arrived today! Fitted it to my NA and I am simply amazed! The car feels completely different! I can no longer smell petrol and my idle has smoothed out and the car is so much more responsive and faster than before. just wanted to share that with you as I am so happy it's sorted so many things out in one go! :bow:

That's a great looking tundy you got there matey! I've had 2 S13s and loved them! VERY fast and cheap for a standard one. Great for drifting. Would def get another if I had room.

I have owned a TT and now have an NA. I would say I prefer the NA for a reliable, everyday drive with great looks and it's no slouch either. I am perfectly happy with the power and the NA engine sounds awesome. My TT was nothing but trouble and expense but I would love to have both. Top pipe on Rad cracking seems common on an NA but other than that...........

Changed heater matrix myself a couple of years ago. Nasty job but somehow enjoyed getting to know more about the car. Took me a week (winter nights, on driveway after work - not a mechanic) and the new matrix only lasted 6 months! Bugger! Sold the car not long after! If it is your matrix gone, good luck mate.

Yellow sensor on the front pipe. Opposite the rad. There's two sensors, the one on the left should have a yellow plug.

Thanks billynomates. That might explain the fuel smell and running a bit rough.

It was the one on the left I was wiggling which the hood has come off. The fan came on then turned off when wiggling it. If the sensor was not wokring I would get no reading at all then from the dash?

My Zed has always idled a bit lumpy since buying it a couple of months ago but drives fine. I decided to look under the bonnet today and have a fiddle. I noticed the rubber cap on my temp sensor has wittled away so I wiggled the wire whilst the engine was running. I noticed the idle appeared to smooth out and also my front fan came on for the first time ever. My question is, my temp gauge has always been spot on and I've never noticed the aux fan come on before. Is the fan coming on because the sensor is now correct or because the car does not know what temp it is? Is it the temp sensor? The yellow one on the left? Cheers Dom

I drove from Cardiff to High Wycombe this morning and back again tonight, along the M4. I was the only Z32!! I saw a light blue Z31 around Swindon and a couple of 350Zs but not one Z32. Nevermind...........maybe next time.
