  5. It can happen that large companies loose their customer service abilities they once had as a small company but all big companies have accountability via Companies House and this is the the tool of choice to get the information to help you fight your case. Company information is completely public view with no data protection involvement, once accessed you can pick bits of info out and you get directors names of which a little investigation via the internet etc. can get contact numbers, email addresses or even home address in some cases, but for that you will need to purchase information from companies house, with these details you could write diectly to the top man. Your web page could give you some grief once they have their legals look at it so be prepared to take it down quick just in case Follow the link below for further info: http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/3e9f05e36a7c725491725af4a750f8d0/wcprodorder?ft=1
  6. Ok seems to be working again this morning ........ happy days Jeff
  7. Getting a data error when trying to access pm`s, is there s problem? Jeff TT
  8. Usually the symptoms are both directions fail to work, however its possible the track connector solder on another pin has failed so got to be worth a look first, to remove the conrol box there is no need to remove the door panel, just unclip the bottom section in the middle and look up behind the panel and you should be able to see it to pull it down off its bracket. Good luck with that Jeff TT
  9. Check the link out below, most window issues are with the module rather than the switch or the motor. Jeff TT http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=137368
  10. Was with us a few weeks back.... Jeff TT
  11. Mmm.. yes cheap copy with dodgy electronic`s, ask for a refund if they want to know why refer them to me ( email on our web site ) if you wish, I will send them a report on the issues we know of with them. By the way no tuning is required when swapping an afm all automatic. Jeff TT
  12. Yes seen that matey and his comments on your thread, all I can say is WTF! oxegen thief pure and simple. Jeff TT
  13. Ok Vince I guess from this and other posts here tonight you need to have a little nap. Pablito just replying now matey  Jeff TT
  14. Be aware many of the e-bay afm`s are copies, very good looking ones too, with the same Nissan part number and label however they are of dubious quality and almost all I know who buy them report that they simply do not work, if it is the one`s around £90 the price says it all, genuine Nissan one is more like £300, are you sure you need one? Jeff TT
  15. Has it always done this or is it a new thing? reason I ask is the typical circuit for an interior light is very basic and just runs to the light. Nissan on the other hand used a switching relay which is a bit over the top to be honest, however when connecting the alarm to this trigger input the alarm can sometime sense the feedback through the relay coil windings and will think the door is open. Get back to those door switch cables and remove for testing any additional cables connected to them, Keep us informed how you get on bud Jeff TT
  16. Owned a Vectra 2.5 GSI Estate for 7 years and cost £5,250 been absolutely 100% reliable, transported our 2 dogs every day to the workshop, customers to the station and at weekends doubles up as a van for rubbish runs to the tip, and collection of DIY products and gets parked in airport carparks for weeks and never fails to start, last Winter saw minus 22c where I live, the Vectra started like it was mid summer...now showing 176k miles and still pulls like a train, love the fact that most other wanabe rally stars do not know it came with near 200bhp as standard always a grin moment away from the lights with the hot hatch kids looking shocked in my rear view mirror, in 7 years it has had a cambelt, exhaust and tyres, still on the original clutch and 3rd set of discs...not bad for the miles you have to agree. Jeff
  17. Yes as you mention the tps will effect the gear change on the auto box, the best you can hope for is a compromise at the moment, the lower the figure you get the better for your gear change, so as you look at the tps from the passenger side rotatate it clock wise so it moves upwards to its max and lock it off, still will not be correct but the best you can hope for with the corrupted signal issue. The cables from the tps go directly to the ecu, the temp sensor common return is spliced into it within the loom at a dedicated junction that is burried deep in the loom bundle. It is worth taking a look at the loom from the temp sensor at the front past the tps and to the bulkead just in case your lucky and can see some damage or chaffing, I do doubt it though, it is a real pain in the ass fault and although I have seen several times is not that common in the bigger picture, one customer got so frustrated with it as we tried to help him over the phone he ripped the loom out and fitted a new one which solved the problem but was a very expensive way to do it. 18. Typical business planers easy steps to starting a small business: 1 Business Ideas consider what business you want to start 2 Business Plan after you have your business idea on paper you need to begin building a business plan 3 Financing Now that you have your business plan, you need to consider financing 4 Getting Started You now have an idea, plan and money to start your small business 5 Open the Doors Business it is time to start making money. Reality 1 + 2 Will cost effort and time 3 + 4 Will cost effort and time 5 Will cost effort and time and of course money, because we all know you cannot make money with out money so my advice to any one thinking about starting a business is to short cut all of the above and see first if you have or can get the money backing, been able to self finance is the cheapest option and stops the greedy bankers making profit on your time and effort. Good luck Jeff TT
  19. Totally agree the NGK 11c is not just an all round standard plug but one that was designed specifically for the VG30 and even when running higher power will be fine. If plugs become a problem when raising power then the mapping needs modifiying not the plugs, a zed running correctly ( ignition timing, camshaft timing, tps, throttle balance, no air leaks, and good compression equal on all cylinders, good quality super unleaded) standard or even your running up to 1 bar of boost will be no issue for the standard plug. Iridium plugs are not well designed for the V30 engine, having known this for many years we finally after some 30 minutes of discussing this with a HKS sales rep at the Autosport show in Birmingham 3 years ago he finally agreed ( albeit very quietly ) that 6 cylinder 2.5 litre or above engines will not give a 100% with iridiums, they cause low speed flutter and tickover issue`s due to poor self cleaning which small high revving engines do not suffer from In fact over the years we have come to now recognise the sound and feel of a zed engine at tickover when iridiums are fitted and most times can confidently guess they are fitted without even lifting the bonnet from the engine sound alone. Of course if you have them fitted dont think you cannot use your zed until replaced its just the standard ones are better. Motorsport applications of many things eventually filter down to road cars due to magazine adverts and hear say, most of which is started by the motorsport parts sales teams! which have a vested interest in propergating the theories that after market is better, may be in some cases but rarely do engine builds go anywhere near what they are stated, driven some 500bhp monsters builds which on the road feel slow but give high rolling road figures......but now that entering the world of make believe anyway.
