This was a really good event. Thanks to Rob and Tom for organising it - the weather was fine, there were plenty of nice cars on show (even if there were only two Zeds) and we stayed there until 4pm! Rob's dad, John, joined us in his lovely Mazda Miata (with a great reg plate) - we all met at Sainsbury's car park in Aylesbury at 8.30 and got into the grounds before 9am. This was the perfect time, it wasn't too busy and John managed to buy a ticket on the day - which meant he could also park with us. We'll have to do it again next year - and it's handy to know there are a few opportunities to pay on the day!! I'll start a separate thread for posting all the pictures - but here are coupe of pre- and post-arrival shots to get started...... 🙂

Whilst at the Chiltern Hills Rally yesterday (more on that shortly....), I was looking around a trade stand that sold garage signs, on the remote chance they would have a 300zx one...... ......To my surprise, they did - for £20! The only one I found, by lucky coincidence, happened to feature a blue Zed. Whilst waiting for the card machine to connect, the seller and I got chatting and he joked about charging me double because my Zed was the same colour....... Then upon looking closer, I spotted the featured Zed had the same wheels as mine. And the same Stillen front lip - and then, I noticed it sported the very same two stickers I have in my windscreen. It was a picture of my own Zed - from the reflections in the paintwork, I could see it was taken at the NEC last November. How cool is that??? I have a garage sign featuring my own Zed - and it is out there on sale!! Naturally the conversation changed from the seller joking that I may want to pay double, to me asking for royalties 😄

After a few e-mails back and forth, I managed to get someone to actually read my comments and they have agreed to refund me by tomorrow..... So all good in the end, even if it was a little frustrating! And thanks for the recommendations too - I am inclined to agree with Craig & Tom - I also use Royal Mail for the larger, more expensive items, so will probably used them for everything in future 😉 And still no sign of Gareth joining us...???

Why is is that you just cannot contact these people?? I have been selling a lot of old stuff on Ebay, after clearing out the loft and garage. One such item was a set of 300zx car mats - they were sold to a buyer in the Croydon area. All went well, the parcel was delivered - or so I thought..... .....Turns out that whilst in the Evri hub, a new label was printed and attached to a different parcel, which got delivered to my buyer. Naturally, he is pee'd off as he received a pack of baby accessories!! I have opened a claim with Packlink, but all they keep telling me is that the parcel was delivered, according to the tracking evidence. They have totally disregarded my explanation and the pictures I sent of the original order - it's just a damn robot repeating the same old crap. How can I contact these idiots and explain what happened 😞 You know, I have a mind not to bother selling anything else and just burn the rest of my old stuff - it's just not worth the hassle..... .....I did try to recruit the buyer to our club though - so Gareth, if you read this, I am sorry about your Zed mats mate. I am trying to resolve the matter and get you refunded!!
