I Agree!!! Would be nice though. Apparently the new hemi's in the new Dodge Charger SRT are not True Hemi's.. :(

Did You consider putting a Hemi in the Zed instead of a Chevy Small Block?

Wouldn't mind a test drive in a New corvette or Dodge Viper SRT Though!! They are Impressive :)

Except for top end!! Usually they max out at 135-145mph even with o/d. Ive owned two U.S Cars one a 88'Transam Carbed 5.0 High output 5 Speed Manual and a 90' Transam Gta 5.7 Tpi With 4 speed Auto (700R4 Box) Both loads of torque but both maxed out before redline at 135-145mph..and these both were not stock after i had finished with them...££££'s Later Thats when i missed my Zed Top End :(

I am going to look into price's soon! Obviously with a six speed box one of the major advantages would be Quicker acceleration/Faster take off. I am going to look into the ratio's as well. i know the box is strong in the 350z and stock it handles 283bhp approx so a stock TT/Na would be ok! I am going to find out the Max Hp/Torq of this box if i can.. :cool:

So you don't see the advantage of more gear's and a closer ratio?

No But you could alway's look for one in a breaker's Yard first!! :p

You Can also Fit high stall Torque Converter's which allow build up more off the line rev's while in Drive and allow you to run more aggressive cam's and a higher Idle to compensate for a lopy idle.

The Automatic Gearbox on these car's are fitted with Lockup torque Converters!! Which allows the gearbox to transmit full engine power and rpm to the Rear wheels via the prop/differential.The lockup clutch eliminates converter slip above a pre-programmed Ecu minimum vehicle speed and gear. Maybe i will look into getting one of those new 6.1 hemi's (425Bhp) V8 out of the new 2006 Dodge Charger that shut's down from 8 to 4 cylinder's in 0.04 of a second to increase fuel economy under certain driving condition's and stick it in the Zed ;) http://www.dodge.com/charger/home_static.html
