I would get a few quote's first!! lights arent expensive either!! 99 spec around £180 from Luke a pair cash or good used at £40-£60 a pair.. Even if the body work come's to £3000 its still cheaper then buying another zed and you will know your's throughout(better the devil you know). you never know how good the new zed will be a few month's down the line!! :cool: I wouldn't give up! i've been there and done that with much regret! The grass always look's greener on the other side ;)

There are normally Three wire's depending on type fitted!!! Comonly red yellow and blue. The speed converter will normally be a small black plastic box roughly the size of a matchbox and normally are wired to the back of the whole cluster! One wire may go to the grey/blue wire if my memory serve's me correctly (haven't fitted many lately) and the other two go to the back of the speedo cluster.:)

It would be better if you posted Pics!! :) It would also be less expensive repairing it really than buying another sound zed and transfering parts. Depends how bad the damage is and how much the Zed means to you. Have you had any quotes yet?:)
