Just bunging the n/a diff in is alot cheaper and a lot less hastle then setting up a ring and pinion, ;) right!!!

And even more wheel spin potential :D

Where did you get you ring and pinion from and how much was it??? I bet it was great fun setting the pattern up!! :D
  4. i was going to remove it but i've soldered it in and taped everything up... i cant see how it's that as my ecu is chiped so i didnt need to connect the delimiter to ecu wire up...its just the signal to the speedo head i connected..
  5. It does also give a signal to the ecu to make it think the cars going slower than it really is. Hence 180kph speed limiter is in theary removed as the delimiter is lying to the ecu...making it think its only doing for example 110kph when you really doing 180kph..
  6. What make's you think there different?? ;)
  7. Well i scored 8 in the first column and they missed one out!!!
  8. Hi All A while ago i fitted a kph to mph converter. I do not drive my zed much but i think the gearchange pattern has changed since fitting the above! under full throttle the power light comes on as usual but the car changes to the next gear too soon ie: doe's not take full advantage of the full rev range under hard accelleration and change pattern is the same even if you take it easy or floor it. Also no kick down when you floor it unless you in o/d and that only drop's down to 3rd if you stay under 80mph any speed over that and you look pretty daft when you go to overtake something else.. .unless you turn o/d off then you just grin and go... :) ive done the usual diag for the auto box and code's are clear. it makes no difference if i go from norm to power mode. The only difference is if i use the hold mode-which doe's it's normal job!! i have fitted a central 20 racing chip as well but i don't recall ecu eprom's ever affecting auto ecu's gearchange mapping.. Tps is also set correctly!! Any help would be apprieciated... :headvswal I ve run out of idea's myself other than looking at the box itself...which is less than a year old... :D
  9. Anyone else had simular problem's when fitting BOV'S to an Auto?? :)
  10. Has everyone had this problem on an Auto? how long did the stumble last?
  11. Didn't GM make some for there 3rd Gen F-Bird's and Cameros and they used to lose shape and crack due to the sun after a few year's? :(
  12. C/F tailgate would be excellent as it weigh's a Ton (ever moved one?) :headvswal :)
  13. i wouldnt have thought it would still cut out on an auto as the ecu should compensate/correct for idle loss surely? even if you had a moment of unmetered air?
  14. The smoking i think is due to unmetered air or metered air being lost hence resulting in over rich mixture, which is only since fitting the bov's!!
  15. My Zed stumble's badly and cut's out and smokes after fitting new dump valve's!! Bov's do go psssshhhhht when you change gear or take your foot off gas suddenly car start's to stumble immediatley after psssssshhhht!! Zed was fine running on recirc's and run's fine when i remove the Bov's and replace with the old recirc's??? Everything was fitted exactly as it should be (pipe's capped off/correct clamp tightness/bov's fitted to right pipe's) Any had the same?? :headvswal
  16. Is It common for recirc valves to sieze completely?? As mine have done 85km and are siezed allowing slight boost loss and do not open at all!!
  17. Sounds like a selecter shaft bearing.... :D Better make sure there all accounted for otherwise it will jump out of gear when coasting ;)
  18. Hi Andy Just a message to let you know i Re-subscribed Via Paypal today :D Regard's Andy
  19. Yeh Trinity but which part of him did you cuff in the First Place??? :x: :D
  20. Well said Trinity :D Iam constantly on the Road as i now drive for a living!! :D between the hour's of 9pm and 4am and it's not alway's Women Driver's at fault!! alot of them are men as well!! more like 55%women, 40%men the other 5% are gay so there you go....Just my 2 pence worth
  21. I was thinking of making these up myself using stock housing's good ones of course.. If you have a basic knowlege of electronic's its not very hard to do!! I have more than basic knowlege so it will be easy to make up the circuit and component's the more challenging part will be modifying the housing's to take them... :D
  22. What is that on his Steering Wheel????? :nono:
  23. FeedBack 100%???
