  1. I thought that but I didn't think that would work as the broad band IP address can not be reached by the other card, if that does work it will also mean his Work data will be going out to the internet, losing connection to the work servers, work email etc. Worth a try though. Just asked some one and they said it can be done via the route command in dos. Dont know the details.
  2. Are there any proxy settings in your internet options Tools Internet Options Connections Tab Lan Settings button Is there a proxy writting in, in the bottom box. If so try unticking it.
  3. Same here. I went from a 1.3 Astra to the Z.
  4. You ahve got it all wrong. Parents aren't responsible for their kids any more. Its always the schools and teachers' responsibility for teaching them everything now.
  5. Have you seen the film I-Robot? The climax of the film reminds me of this, where all the robots in the world are told to prison their owners in their home and dont let them do anything because that is the best way of protecting them. But where do we stop passing on the responcibility to other people?? Football clubs stopping certain people from watchin football? Its a fact that wife/partner beating increases with poor football results. How about bartenders or even drink manufactures being responsible for drunks? Innocent people are beaten or even killed by drunks, not to mention the amount of drink driving deaths? How about Nissan being responsible for making a car which can be tail happy when driven by idiots? Its yet another area of "ITS NOT MY FAULT" culture which has occured. "The road is bad, it was icey, it was wet, it was dark, he sold me the car, he sold me the tyres, he sold me the boost controller, its tail happy, the tail skips, HICAS is cráp, the back end is light, the spoiler's wrong". How about giving the excuse. "I was driving like a tit" "I was impatient" "The car is too powerful for me" "Im not as good a driver I thought I was" "I made a mistake" "I should have been going slower" "I wasnt paying full attention"
  6. There is a point to be made here but not the one you are making. Why should some one else always resposible for other people's actions? If I sold you a kitchen knife legally for use in a kitchen and you go stab some one, why should I be resposible? Its about time people took resposibility for what THEY did. The point should be, should there be a power restirction on cars on new drivers like there are for bikes?

Silverstone tends to be about £250+ in summer.
  8. Have you run a scan disc? It is possible some of the data is currupt. Even when you uninstall a program it does not remove all the files. It keeps many drivers and DLLs and settings files.
  9. have you done a virus check? Scan disc?
  10. Maybe why when my gf ordered her MINI with front heated windscreen, when it arrived we where told they "Never got it working" (never paid enough)
  11. Interesting I have only seen them on Fords.
  12. I have the AVC-R and it has worked perfectly for me. If it ain't broke!
  13. They will fit but NA bumpers do not have the vents on on the bottom corners where the intercoolers go. Putting a NA bumper on a TT will block the needed air to the intercoolers.
  14. The most important question is....... Did they do a good job? ;)
  15. The 1100ps 300 ZX which did over 260mph (I think it was) used the original crank accoroding to teh Jun website. It would have done work to it but it was the standard one.
  16. Those arseholes. I think I am very lucky with my local Nissan dealer, they take my word for it when I ask for a part.
  17. It took 2 days from my local Nissan dealer. Did you say it was a Jap? Ask for the UK version or say its a UK 300ZX.
  18. ABS Wire Traction Wire Light green = Front left Red = Channel 1 Blue = Front Right Blue = Channel 2 Brown = Rear Left Yellow= Channel 3 Orange = Rear Right Green = Channel 4 We need to hook it up again to check the settings. I used the instructions on TT.net to install mine so our wheel settings will be different.
  19. The left and right side, only difference is the length of the wire, but that constitutes one side costing twice as much. Ironically the one with the shorter wire costs more.
  20. If your modem can use Ethernet, use that. I konw a lot of people who had your problem and using Ethernet instead of USB sorted the problem.
  21. Its already out. Telewest offer TV Drive, which is a HD verson of cable, but it can record 2 channels in High Def, and you can watch a 3rd. Also there is no upfront price for the top box. I love my cable internet. Its a 4mb connection and 99.9% of the time I get 4mb connection. No use for microfilters, phone lines, and having to be next door to an exchange to get full speed. Unfortunatly its a little expensive for what you get now, but hopefully with ADSL2 coming and Virgin taking over, they will either up the speed or down the cost.
  22. Telewest is merging with Virgin?
  23. This is a very nice find. Thinks for taking the effort to bring it to us.
  24. yes it is possible, but there is little room to do that. The supra works on a sequential turbo setup and most supra owners dump it for a single turbo setup. You can get anti lag systems, which basically injects fuel into the exhaust system and ignites it causing the turbos to spin up.
