Picture of the worlds best car and a Lambo
I know most of you would have seen this pic, but I love it so much its printed out and on my bedroom wall. :D I saw this Lambo 2 weeks after it was released in 2002. Must have been one of a first few in the world at that time. :D Stuart

Wonderful, why do I bother
That is you though, not all people are in the know when they are touching another car. If they are just grazing it, most people wont realise and probably just carry on. I watched a woman reverse into a parking space and rubbed the front bumper of the car already parked as she did it. The rub started at her back bumper all down the back quarter panel, by this time the rub turned into a big dent by the time the "rub" reached the back door she had damaged it beyond repair and her passenger door was a write off too by the time she finished. I cant believe she didnt realise. She got out of her car and walked off not realising she has probably done £3000 of damage to her car. Lucky she did it on the bull bar of a landrover so no damage there. I should have said something but I was too busy laughing at her. Stuart

Where is this big chill?
I have heard on the news and from friends and famliy that its going to be really cold next week between -8ºC and -14ºC. I have looked on the BBC web site and in the North West and the coldest its says on there is -2ºC, a long way from the -14ºC people have been talking about. Not saying it wont be cold, but do you think the media is doing the typical thing of making a mountain out of a mole hill?

I noticed you have added some 850 injectors, huge greddy turbos, custom MOTEC ECU, rebored to 3.2 and using JUN pistons. ;)

Wonderful, why do I bother
I bet most drivers dont realised they have hit or scraped another car. I have a Corsa as my daily driver and the bumper has been ripped off on one side. It is deffinatly because some one has bumped it as it had ripped a part of the bumper which screws it down.

I Went To RR Day At THOR Today......
The fans where freezing. Standing at the back of the car and you could still feel a gail. I dont think people realise that a dyno take a lot stress on an engine. Some people say it is like flooring it in 4th on the motorway. Well its not really as there is a hell of a lot more air on the car while driving at 120+mpg than any dyno fan can do. Also when was the last time any one put the car in 4th and floored it from 2000rpm all the way to red line? Dont forget that red line in 4th is about 140mph. Stuart

Rolling Road, My thread :)
Good to meet some of you lot at last. I set off at 7:15 with the GPS on the dash and it told us where to go ;) hehehehe. No asking people at their houses for directions, no wrong turns found it straight away. :D I got a little worried driving round a farm wondering if I was on private property. I also got worried when the gaurd dog decided to try and chew my tyres when drove past. I was more worried about decapitating it than getting a puncture. Pitty I couldnt stay long and the only time I could really get on the rollers was at gone 4:30. I was hoping to be home by then. Sorry I had to leave so early, had made plans for that night and I didnt think it would take that long. It was freezing though considering it was a lovely sunny day. I got some video footage but unfortunaty its not that good as it wanted, I couldnt get too much of the car in the view at once. Also the cars I filmed all detonated. :( So if you want to hear what it sounds like I can post some thing up. I personally have never heard it before. Sounds nasty. Would like to see you all again soon. Stuart

I Went To RR Day At THOR Today......
I got back about 30 mins ago. Good set up they have at THOR, I was impressed with the dyno system, its just a pitty to took so long to do 1 car. :( I have a few vids but I dont know how they will come out as I couldnt fit much of the car in the shot at once. But the sound should be good, not that the sound detonation is very nice :(. I didnt take any pictures either as a pic of a car with its wheels off isnt that interesting LOL:lol: Got a few pics of a nice Porsche 911 GT2. Very nice looking car. :D Also saw a Z just after leaving THOR and I dont think it was part of the party. We are going to have to find a way to recognise people. There where probably loads of people there who I spoke to online but didnt know their face. Either way nice to meet the ones I did talk to. ;) Stuart

Well that's a new one on me.
When on holiday taking it easy on the motor way I got 250miles before it reached half way. It then very quickly plummeted, but managed over 30MPG

Will my rims fit?
That seems a lot for me especially for a 1990 Z.
-
Will my rims fit?
What you looking to do in the mods department? Its easy enough to get 350-380 bhp, If you are modding, one of the first things you should do is the clutch as it is not designed to do more than standard power. But even with the standard 245 wheels it wheel spins in 1st and 2nd when the turbos spool up with moderate mods. As for the 18s. I am not too sure. The Nissan has big calipers and I have struggled finding wheels that will fit and wont cost me an arm and a leg.
-
Will my rims fit?
Considering that a Standard UK has 245/45 I would not put narrower tyres on, or its not recomemended anyway. £5000-£6000 will get you a good Z, obviously the more you spend the better the quality you should get. Modded cars dont hold their money very well. You can get a standard Z and one which has had £5000 of mods on it and it wouldnt cost that much more. If you put your location in the profile you may find local people willing to help find a Z. Stuart
