  1. TBH bud, I wouldn't worry about the 'Version' at all, it was basically a marketing ploy by Nissan in the later years ;)
  2. Here you go, http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/tech/caliperrebuild/caliperrebuild.html HTH Dave
  3. Arrr, right! Down to personal preferance here. Given the choice I'd go for a SWB, which was also available in the Version R, I'd also go with the Slick-Top (No Targas) and Twin Turbo!
  4. TBH I'm not really sure where you're coming from with this question! CZ32 & GZ32! Not sure where the 'C' comes from. If you're refering to the LWB & SWB then it's 6 inches, a +2 in the seating arrangement, marginaly faster for the SWB, depending on roof arrangement etc But on the whole they are effectively the same car just one has extra seats and the room/meakwork that goes with that.
  5. I think it was the 'Keeping My Chin UP!' that was the problem in the first place!!
  6. at you lot ;)
  7. Well , today I, eventually, received an automatic hire car ;) It's a VERY nice Volvo V70, 2.4 Diesel Estate (http://www.volvocars.com/uk/All-Cars/Volvo-V70/Pages/default.aspx) with loads of toys..... mmmm I could get very used to this :) So I'm back at work tomorrow, which was my choice as long as they supply me with a hire car, which they now have, so at least I can still earn my overtime on Saturday. I'd prefer to return to work anyway, i can sit down n the office all the time and be waited on hand and foot :D ...... cant stand anymore daytime TV!
  8. And a picture of the back of the OEM radio.... This is a US spec radio, so may be different to anything you have on your own, but the aeriel socket is the same. To the left of the socket (left of picture) you can see a cut-out in the hole surround, that is where the clip normally goes, and you can just see the two pin holes inside the socket
  9. Heres a picture of a 'typical' adaptor plug for the OEM 300ZX radio In the lower part of the picture is the two prong plug that goes into the OEM radio (you can only see one prong, as it's a side-on view) The other end of this wire shows a Female, which is for the normal type aeriel plug (thicker wire), and the Male end goes into a female that is attched to the thinner cable. You may just have the two wires going into the carpet and now other plugs visable. HTH Dave
  10. Hows your fingers Dave? ;)
  11. The EL panels work out at around £30 - £40 for the DIY job, but you do have to split the center panel, which can be risky! And the OEM ones tend to sell for around £100+..... and don't let anyone fob you off, OEM ones only EVER were available in GREEN, complete with an anodised inverter box with dark grey foam around it! Anything else is fake!
  12. Don't know! I've got an appointment on Friday morning at the Fracture clinic, so we'll see. Means I can't drive........ Can't drive, can't get to work for the overtime...... no overtime, no money for Eliza's bodywork!! :( First thing my boss said when i rang him was "So you wasn't walking on the walkways then?".... thanks for the sympaphy! I was doing the job that I'm paid to do, which means you can't always use the walkways because that's not where you want to be! Bloody typical, they're already on the defensive!
  13. Yeah Rich, just concentrate on which way you're pointing her mate ;)
  14. Back from the hospital, and................ I've fractured it! Bugger! :(
  15. The Sidelight is housed within the Fog Lamp unit. It's a 501 type bulb HTH Dave
  16. Cheers guys, Well I'm off to the hospital in abit, but I've got a dentist appointment first, and I refuse to pay for not turning up ;), so I'll get it checked out later. It's still very painfull this morning, was OK once I found the right position in bed over night (my foot I mean ;) ) If it's anything serious I'll have to see if work can get me a automatic hire car, as there is now way I'm missing out on the overtime I've got booked.... that money is for Eliza :D
  17. OK, I'm going to ask, what could be an obvious, question here.... How come, if it was never intended to sell on this forum, you state that you are looking for 99 spec lights etc, but your 'Other Site' advert states that it's still for sale as a 'Fresh Import' with no UK owners?!!!!!! That implies that you imported it yourself to sell on and it's not been registered in the UK. So have you decided to keep it? Are you trying to mislead us? Or are you trying to mislead potential buyers on the 'Other' site?
  18. While at work tonight I had to go outside and move one of our trains, while walking in the dark (with a Head Lamp) I stumbled and legs and arms went in all directions, and I ended up in a heap, thinking to myself "****, that hurt!"........ and "I'm glad no one saw me do that!" ;) Now I can joke about it because that's the way I am, but on looking back at it, it was a stupid thing to do, but also so easily done. Now I have really hurt my foot, I also drove home, which didn't do me any favours at all, as it's my left foot that took all the fall, and was a real pain to keep pressing the clutch pedel (EVERY bloody traffic light was sodding RED  ) Anyway, I've taken some VERY strong pain killers, so I'll see what it's like in the morning, if it's still killing me I might pop over to the hospital and get it checked out.
  19. Stonewall.... I know where you're coming from, I persoanlly think that this years show was not served in the Traders and Refreshments department at all well! I also don't think that this show was very well laid out, BUT>>>> This was a new location and I'm sure they will improve on it for next year, and I will be going back :D I supose it also depends as to why you attend a show like this...... Is it becasue you want the 'crack' with your friends who own the same car as you, or you go because you like to see the full spectrum of what's available and appreciate everything there? Personally mines both ;), but the latter was missing, and TBH (no dissrespect to who was there on Sunday) the former wasn't there for me either as most of the members that I know weren't there either this year :( ROLL ON JAE 2010 :D
  20. :cool::nana2::dance:;):p:tongue:
  21. Repost ;) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=1291315&postcount=6
  22. Yeah, it's a shame as my original plan was to be there on the Saturday, then I booked myself in for work and forgot about what date it was :headvswal (but then the money is going on Eliza anyway) and then, as I had the kids this weekend, my ex tells me that my little girl had her 11+ on the Saturday morning, so I wouldn't of been able to go. So hopefully next year we'll go on the Saturday (including Karen), or, if I haven't got the kids, might make the full weekend again like we did back in '06 BTW Kim, it was nice to finally meet you bud, good to put a face to a name
  23. Yes indeed, very unfortunate!
