  1. Rich, Abridged short version ;) She has no boost at all at the moment, so I've aquired a pair of used turbos, that, once I've recon'd, I'll be taking the engine out with another members help (with the use of his facilities etc) and that'll be sorted, along with a couple of other new goodies at the same time. Then she'll be going to a local bodyshop to have the rusted sill returns and arches replaced and the paintwork brought back up to scratch. All that should be well in time for next years show season  And yes you are correct, AH3 is the best colour :D
  2. Hence the "large, large box" lol (well it was big for the hand delivery postman anyway ;) )
  3. Now that is gorgeous Italian bodywork!! ;)
  4. Cheers Rich, don't worry about it bud, I'll see what I can come up with. I used to have one of these panels kicking around somewhere, but not sure if it's still at my dads place, so might come up trumps there :D
  5. Not being funny here, but what did you expect? Your S13 was 2/3 the weight and tuned, the Z32 is standard! Your proposed route though sounds good and should set you up nicely. Welcome to the club ;)
  6. Hope you're having a great day Nick :duffer: :duffer:
  7. Happy Birthday bud :duffer: :duffer:
  8. I know, ;) It was the same bloke at the collection office that had tried to delivery it, he didn't look too impressed  Once I'm feeling up to it I'll be installing it all :D
  9. Depends how much printing you do? They do last quite a while even with my amount of printing! Anyway you can normally have a refill delivered within a week, and you can see how much ink you've got left, so i wouldn't worry just yet ;)
  10. Me?? :D http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m38.l1313&_nkw=r265+cis&_sacat=See-All-Categories
  11. From a quick look, prety much the same as this V70... http://www.volvocars.com/uk/All-Cars/Volvo-V50/Pages/default.aspx Theres a 'Build Your Own' on there as well to add in all the extras you want ;) I've got to admit though that this one I've got has got a few extras fitted. But certainly the ride quality and finish are very impressive, and I'm sure it would be the same on the V50
  12. For this very reason I stopped using my old Lexmark, I'm now running an Epson R265 printer and an older Epson scanner. With the printer I have a continuous printing system, which has a six ink side tank that feeds to the special catridges via small bore tubes. Each colour holds approx 100ml of ink, and I fill her up every six months or so, and I do a hell of a lot of printing (normally Best Quality photo quality prints) The downside is that you have two machines, but the benifits well outweigh that problem! ;)
  13. The starting price of the Volvo V70 I'm currently driving is only £22,745 for the estate, or the S80 (saloon) starts at only £21,745! A lot more car for the money! ;) I'm very happy with this one... shame I'll have to hand it back at some point :(
  14. Best of luck with it bud!
  15. Are you sure it's not the torque convertor? I'm not too sure how this would affect what you are describing. We need a real expert to answer this properly, not the usual "mine did this... mine did that" brigade! ;)
  16. I wouldn't worry, if he's doing ti for you when he drops it off, you''ll be fine
  17. I would imagine that you would lock the wheels, but that's only any good if everything is straight and true! But like I say, he should know! Good idea taking the bumper off, will be OK then for sure :D
  18. OK, I see your point on the fact that it's an Auto. Not sure about the steering lock point, ask the guy who's lending you the truck, he should be able to advise you properly. My concern would be for your front bumper! Watch that it's not too low, otherwise you catch it on stuff, especially speed humps!
  19. Sorry to dissagree with you here, but you're talking *****cks!! After I bought my Eliza I used it as a second car, most weekends and occasionally during the week, then the box went, I had it recon'd and used it the same for a while, then started using it as my daily driver all the time with no problems whats-so-ever!! The problem is that these boxes are old, the newest ones will be at least ten years old, and the oldest twenty!! What would you expect? Pete, if you have it recon'd, use a reputable agent who knows whats-what with this box. I can't recommend the guys that did mine, because they are a bunch of dicks!! Best of luck with it Dave
  20. 1) Why is it being done from the rear? 2) Is it being done by a proffesional recovery company or by yourself?
  21. That looks so, so wrong!
  22. I'll reveal it once it's in the car ;) I know the postman aswell, he'll be right pee'd off as he will of had to bring it all the way to my door and then take it all the way back.... I think he hates me because I'm never in when he calls
  23. .... but I wasn't in so they've left a card (as they do!)..... Do you think it might be a bit BIG? ;) I know what's in it :D Cheers Rich, I'll pick it up in the morning
  24. The choice is down to personal preferance bud! They'll both be about as much work to fit as each other, as you still need leads and sender feeds for both coming through the bulkhead.
  25. I thought this was a car forum, not a political debating society??!! More harm than good has always been done by bringing ANY form of politics on this site..... My 2p worth ;)
