stereo wiring
Jase, Take the stereo end into Halfords, and they may be able to match it up. They've got the AudioLeads book and it has various pics of the plugs in there, so you can match it up, if it's available in this country. HTH

Air-Con Controller Fault
Since I've owned this Z I've never seen the temperature readout on the Air-Con display unit. I assumed that the display was faulty, so got hold of a replacement unit and this one also does not show the readout  So my question is, is there a fault with both these units, or is there an input problem, and where could it be?

Interior in and finished
TBH Stuart, I was going to go for Black leather with dark red center panels and red piping :D, ran out of red wire, so gona get some more for the rear cards. What the pics dont show is the center console lid and the NS rear panel, they arnt too good :( . Thanks for the compliments guys. Was really happy this afternoon, cus it's been the first time I could take her out in over a week :D, with the re0trim, new stereo and phone kit, also got the new rear fog switch in as well, just gota wire the fogs in properly now (moron who wired them in before took the LIGHTS bulb out :xxx: )

Interior in and finished
Right, well I got the chance this morning to put the remaining panels back in the car, before the wind got up. Well I'm not entiely happy with it, but they say that you are your own worse critic.......... errrrmmmmmmmm we'll see. Have sent Luke an e-mail to quote me for a FULL leather re-trim, but I'm deffo having the seats done anyway. Comments please, constructive ones would be nice but I know that I'll get some non-constructive ones as well :slap: So I know the following...... The grass wants cutting, my patio chairs have fallen over, the carpets want cleaning and I've got a pack of POLO in the dash :D They are a little big, hence as attachments only.

Toyo Proxes T1-S tyres
Am really looking forward to haveing these fitted. About time I got the right size tyres on the Z, cant beleive someone had fitted 215's :xxx: Also noticed that there was a cracking line running all the way round the FNS tyre at the base of the tread , as this is what has prompted me to replace them so soon ( was going to wait untill they had worn out a bit more)

Ive had an idea.........
Shall I take that as a NO then :slap:  OK I can live with that.............................. I wont do it then. Its not glued in, the recess is deep enough to hold it. Well I hope so, as I havent driven it yet, but will see how it goes.

Ive had an idea.........
Some of you have seen my door card already, but I've been given a link for a product called Litewave Glow Wire and thought about fitting this in place of the red piping. What do you guys think? I would use RED and in a corrosponding size so it should look somthing like it does at the moment.

Whats wrong with a map, never been a prob for me :D And only about a fiver, cheaper than a peice of electronic wizardry. Is it really that much of a problem to use a map :mac1: :slap: Sorry, just my opinion, now dont get me wrong, I'm in no way trying to recomend maps, or even promote them, I just choose to use one :nelson:

First pic of my re-trim
I knew i should have put it through photoshop first :D If you think the grass looks bad in the pic, you should see it close up  **** knows what the previous owner did to it  roamed a herd of cattle over it i think. :D Anyway, I live on my own, sod the grass, the Z's more important :D

EMPEG player and tuner on UK EBay
OK guys, I'll be the one to ask....... Whats the point??? Yes i can see that you can have a lot more music in one place ( I'm asuming that is correct). But in a Z??? I mean with the price of fuel, you'd certainley never get the chance to play it all in one go :D After all i've just installed a 10 disc changer in mine, and i cant see me listening to all the discs in one go. Sorry to sound dim, but for a long distance traveller then yes i can see it, but just not in a Z. :nelson: :mac1: :x:

First pic of my re-trim
Cheers guys, will post some more pics when I've got all the panels back in the car. I brought 4 metres in total, and have about 1 metre left over, but I have been very frugle with my cutting, but then as I'm thinking about re-doing some bits this should come in handy. Nismo, yours is a very nice job, and I would think is probably easier to work with  And to anyone else who is thinking of doing this, if you can afford/get hold of leather, then use it. As it would be a lot more plyable.
