  1. Well, now you mention it, it could be, but I did do a search for J-Lo and thats what came up  Arr well!!!! The thought was there :D ;)
  2. pmsl    I'm just happy to help anyone ;)
  3. Neil, I'm sorry for you, it's not nice to find out that somthing isn't what you thought it was. But I'm asuming you had seen pictures of it and some form of a spec list? If a decent company are importing one, or even already selling one over here, then if they miss out important stuff like not mentioning it's a T/Turbo, then it most probably isnt. And if in one ad they say it is, and then you find out it isnt, dont bother giving them a second chance, they are obviously a bunch of ****s!! who don't know their business, and you dont want to be dealing with a company of that low standard. The problem with high spec cars like the ZX, is that you are having to trust the selling agent (either a dealer or individual) personally I'd recomend seeing some of the cars for sale from well established, subscribed members, on here. As they will probably have been here for quite some time, and will have looked after their Zed, as a good Zedder would. Also other members will know the car aswell, and you can look back through the owners previous posts and see what sort of problems they have had with the car, and see how they delt with them. I hope that is of use to you, and good luck in your search.
  4. OK then........ Kylie... J-Lo.... Hows that? :D
  5. I did as well :duffer: , got a hell of a headache this morning, and I'm at work ;) It's all YOUR fault :D
  6. With all this eBay stuff coming up, have a look at this one............ but better still, take a look at the bidding history, and scroll down to the retracted bids      http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5530699633
  7. Enough about 'THAT', hows your leg doing ;)   Seriously mate, glad it's getting better. I'll have a couple of :duffer: :duffer: in your honour tonight ;)
  8. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;) Cheers Pete :duffer:   Although I do prefer Comedy Dave :D
  9. There is no unwritten rule about asking questions here! Now I've answered a few of your questions in the past, and I beleive I've helped you out here aswell................ So whats the problem? Is the answer not good enough? What do you want me to do, bring one of the rear ones, that I havent fitted yet, to your house and show you how to do it? And as far as not having a Zed, and subscribing, I know of a few mwmbers who have done it that way round. I also know of people who became members on their first post!!!!! and fair play to them for doing that. :duffer: So the answer is NO you wont get 'sh1t' for doing it that way round, and the sarcasim will disapear aswell!!! So next time someone helps you out, and doesnt take the p155, don't through it back in their faces! Because it's not appreciated, by me or anyone else.
  10. You cant say I didnt try to help......................... If you buy a Zed and subscribe, maybe you'll see us all in a different light. Or maybe not :D You'll never get the complete answer your looking for in one place. So you have to do reasearch, and have a Zed to try things on (as basic as this anyway) Or go to a local, or national, meet and look at other Zeds, talk to the owners, etc. You seem very serious about buying a Zed, so just subscribe, and all the help you want is at your finger tips.
  11. To answer your question Neil, and for any others that are wondering, these are quality OEM fitments, not some cheap aftermarket plastic stuff from Halfords. They fit with 3 or 4 bolts/screws and double sided bodywork fixing tape. but as they are factory fitments, then the rears will not have the holes already in the bumper (the fronts utilise existing holes) so you'll have to drill some yourself. Neil, please don't ask 'Will this damage your bumper?' or somthing like that, as that would be an obvious answer! Anyway you might find a nice import with thme on already, saving you some work. I do hope you find a nice example, as you are asking so much, and hoping not to waste your money, which is a good idea, but can I sugest somthing (which I think has been said before to you) why not subscribe to the forum, and help to contribute to the site that is giving you SO much information! And, hopfully, saving you a fourtune in not buying a dud!! Also, before asking questions, why not do some reaserch and try using the SEARCH function at the top of each page on here. That way you'll probably find all the answers you require, without getting the sarcasim!!!! ;) I hope that helps you.
  12. 2.8i Capri  :D Or even the 1.3
  13. That looks cool  Reminds me of a Cylon, from Battlestar Galactica
  14. That's got to be the best quote ever :D And it was right  "All the driveways, in all the world....... And you had to walk into mine...." :D
  15. Scott, that looks very nice indeed. Can i ask though, was it easy polishing the water pipes, I'm assuming that you have polished the standard ones? Although looking at the pic, it looks like a kit
  16. "I also like thes mudgaurds. Neil, have a look at this post, by Matty http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=32045&highlight=leather I brought Matty's old OEM leather off him, and yes it was fiddly to fit, as I understand he found it fiddly as well, but well worth all the trouble. His finished article was superb when he had finished it. As for the interior panels, I've only done my own version in vinyl so far, and found it relitivly simple to do. But I will be changing it for a proper leather interior from Luke sometime next year. HTH
  19. Mark, not sure if this'll help you in any way, have a look here. Worth a try. HTH
  20. paul, WTG mate  Respect to you, as i wouldn't try this myself. But just one thing............................ get rid of that ugly hanging fog lamp :nelson: :x: ;)
  21. Lets not get carried away here, it has not been proven that he commited suicide yet. If he did, then I agree, he was a spinless b***ard. But he may have had a problem with his car and panicked!! You don't get much time on a level crossing, once the lights flash and the barriers lower. I should know, I've spent 15 years in the rail industry, and 11 of them were spent installing signalling and level crossing systems all over the country. These half barrier crossings are relativley safe, as long as the public treat them with respect, as you would anything on the road. Once the trian has activated this type of automatic crossing, then NOTHING can stop it from going over the crossing (at normal line speed) You dont get very long before the train is passing over it, and I'm talking seconds, not minutes!!! So if he did have a problem, he could have panicked, not realising how soon the train would be there. Just thought I'd inject some known facts into this disscusion, as the papers will be on the 'Railways Aren't Safe' bandwagon, as usuall, as it is
  22.   :D Check out the link I posted on the first post of this thread, and then look at his web site links for other pics. HTH
  23. lol ;) I liked it on Lack300's as soon as I saw it at Japs 2003, and have always wanted one since.
