  1. The following are still available from DVLA, J300 NTT........ £250 K300 NTT........ £250 L300 NTT........ £250 M300 NTT........ £250 N300 NTT........ £250 P300 NTT........ £250 R300 NTT........ £250 S300 NTT........ £250 T300 NTT........ £250 Including transfer fee. Thought this was a nice way to keep the age of your Zed, but also personlise it at the same time. The J reg was the one I was going to buy, before I brought my Zed with mine already on it.
  2. Well it looks like some of you guys are doing a hell of a lot more than I am. Those engine re-builds make my list look like peanuts :D Thats why I decided to do all mine at the same time. Was only going to replace just the timing belt, but read so much on here about doing it all at the same time, thought it might be wiser to do the lot. At least there is one saving grace from my own list, all items upto 11, apart from 9, are already paid for :D But then the rest of the list add up to a fair bit on their own...... about £1000, with painting, give or take a bit. I hope the good luck fairy shines down on you all over the winter months, and you are able to get/have done what you all want.
  3. Ok I'm bored at work, so thought I'd go through my list of stuff to do to the Zed over the winter :) in no particular order; 1) Fit Timing belt kit, inc water pump, stat, belts etc. 2) Fit Replacement injector wiring harnesses. 3) Fit new ECU water temp sender unit and harness. 4) Have boot lid smoothed, and fit new perspex panel. 5) Sort and fit modified '99 spec rear lights. 6) Re-Furbe leather with Woolies kit. 7) Re-wire rear fog lamp and re-position switch. 8) Clean/sort PTU contacts. 9) Send ECU off for modifying. 10) Fit (properly) OEM mudflaps. 11) Oil change. And a few I'd like to have done, 12) Fit '99 spec front bumper, and have rear bumper re-sprayed. 13) Fit HID headlamps. 14) Fit Interior Panel Leather kit. So nothing too special there, but some will sort the car out, and some will smarten it up a bit more. So what have you got on-the-cards for the winter?

  9. My mechanic fitted my Mongoose, but did it with other work, so dont have a price. But had a system fitted to my old XR4i by SelectaTyre and they were glad to do it for £20. But £100 sounds very expensive to me.
  10. All sounds Greek to me :p :mac1: :nelson:
  11. This was the same for me when I first posted pics of my Zed, someone pointed it out to me also.

Yeah, nice to see a few new faces (well to me anyway ;)) Not sure if/when I can make it again, as if it stays on it's present two week rotation, then it falls into my two week rotation of working late shift, made it this time as I'm on holiday :D Huh!!! Bloody holiday, be glad to be back at work, bloody decorating!!!! And to quote Chubby; "Whoever invented decorating wants ****ing, And whoever invented ****ing wants decorating!!!" :p

  17. Thanks for all that Tony
  18. Attached is the diagramm that I made up when I removed my old Pioneer head unit. Hope this is of use to you, obviously ignor some of it. :)
  19. I would have got mine, had Play.com bothered to post them so that they would turn up on time, but they only posted them today :xxx: So i've got to wait now
  20. Tony, Have you got any advise regarding splicing these in. As I've just got some delivered, along with other stuff, and will be attempting fitting these soon. As it comes as a set of three attached together to a pair of pre-crimmped wires, I'm assuming you turn this into three individual sets (per side), ready to splice into their own circuits. Did you take it as far as you could? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance. :duffer:

  22. If you switched your lights off for, say, a min every other min, then you could extend the life of your bulbs. :p
  23. So can you explain how you ran it on the front tyres only, because, if I could save wear and tear on mine that would be great ;)

Ryan, You are more than welcome to any from my rides section, but doubt they are any good to you. I also have quite a few from JAPS 2003, a few from JAPS 2004, some from JAE 2003, and 2004, also the Boat Inn meet May this year, along with quite a few of official stuff and other bits and bobs I've picked up from around the net :D Some of this lot is high res, some isnt. If you fancy any of it, I could put it on a disc and send it to you. HTH
  25. And what difference would the headleamp washers make to HID lamps anyway?
