No it isnt obvious where to put the stripes, in fact it's a bit of a pain, and took me quite a while to get right (and still isnt really :headvswal ) As for the block goo, well there is a fitting guide here (although the pictures are no longer showing) If you brought a genuine set of 99's, then you'd remove as much of the old as you can, and then use the new stuff supplied. If you are using an old set then leave it where it is, but be very carefull when working on them, I put greese-proof paper over the sticky part, and this came off very well when I'd finished. Tip - A hot air gun would be better than a hair dryer, I also found that you have much more controll over the separation process if you also use a hot air gun for this instead of an oven. I also silvered my inserts while my lamp units were apart, just to give it that extra bit of 99 spec realism :D

I could, but it's been put in my Journel section, which I believe only subscribed members can see. But I do have a pic of my rear end, in day light.... And at night..... These are the made up versions (home made, not a kit) and I've put the pin stripping on the inside while I was doing it. Also the '300ZX' logo has had an illuminated Electro-Luminescent panel installed as well. HTH

Yes simply Jeff (Zedworld) is no longer a trader on here! As sugested, do a search and you'll see why. But bear in mind, that opinions are like ar5eholes, everyone has one!! Jeff has had a lot of people speak up for him, and against him. Look at it this way, if a respected trader was doing good business on here, then a respected member had some work done by him and then that respected member found somthing wrong with the car, what would happen? There are two sides to every argument, and I'm not saying which side I'll go with. So I'll shut up now :slap:

This sounds dodgy to me. I'd have thought that if you are transfered under TUPE, then the new company still have to honour everything outstanding, and the previous company cant dis-honour your previous contract. I'll see if I can find anything out here for you.

I don't wana leave early, because if I do get made redundent, then I'm on for a good package, the money would last me for around 7 months, which in worst case I should be able to get another job within this industry. The company who are interested in buying the place where I work, have been given untill the end of April to make their final decission as to whether they are or not. Although we expect that they'll be given another four weeks :rolleyes: Back in November 2004 we were told that we, originally, had a guaranteed job untill the end of March this year. Now due to this interest from this other company, this was extended untill they decide 'Yay or Nay'. At the end of February this year, we were given a 'Letter Of Pending Redundency', which basically means none of us can apply for a loan, buy a car on HP, obtain a new mortgage etc!!! Our lives have been on-hold since November, which has been a right pain in the ar5e!! Also we didn't get a pay rise last year (company/world wide) and it isnt looking fantastic for one this year either :xxx: If this other company drops out at the end of the time, then there will defenatley be redundencies, of which I beleive I'll be one. The future is not bright, the future isnt Orange (well my mobile is ;) )........ I wonder what'll get sold first....................... It's looking like the house, no way am I parting with the Zed (Prob wouldn't get a decent price for it anyway :rolleyes: ) At least I can (hopfully) go and live at my dads house. Anyway, moan over ;)

Arrrrrrrr!! This explains somthing.......... I now know why I have a thin co-ax wire behind my head unit (cut off) :D But does anyone know why there was two co-ax leads in the first place?
