I was just about to say that I've had normal members write in mine, then I've just checked it and noticed that I've had one committee, one mod and a trader, so that stopped that statement!! lol ;)

DADs KEYS pinched TO A DAIMLER 6 N REG been pinched
Is it insured? Contact your insurance company and see what they say. If the keys were in the home when they were stolen then it'll come under your house insurance, and subsiquently you can have all of the locks replaced.

rear seat belts
It's relatively straight forward, all you need is the inertia belt assemblies for both sides and the clasps to go with them (complete with all bolts and washers) On the doner car you'll see that the belt comes out of the rear quarter panel. Around this point is a small plastic surround piece, if you can obtain these then it'll make all of your effort much more worth it. Remove the rear seat back, the seat squab and both quarter panels. You'll also need to remove the quarter window surround plastic panels from both sides. ....... Then as I've already posted in the past...

New Product: TwinZ Design 300ZX 2+2 rear bumper with integrated diffuser
As you are all aware this can not turn into a trading thread in any way shape or form, and if someone tries to turn this into a trading thread it'll be closed. Twinz, if you manage to secure a UK importer then the best of luck to you as I'm sure there will be members on here that'll certainly buy them.

top gear-just silly now??
Can't agree more. I've not bothered watching it for the last two series either. Now I know I'm going to sound like an old fart here, but I used to watch it back in the Eighties when it was a proper Motoring Journal program not an expensively made comical entertainment show aimed at people with £20,000 spare change in their back pocket!

It's attached to the Off Side rear lamp in the boot. Also for the rear fog lights >> http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=117006 HTH Dave PS - And there's nothing like a noob question! ;)

First few issues with my Zed
Well I've got to agree wholeheartedly with all of that as I love to see it done properly as I did exactly the same with mine. As for the position of the rear amp it is located in the vacinity of the OSR wheel arch around the ABS pump area. It looks like a round sweet tin approx 6 " in diameter x 2.5" with a bent bracket coming off it. When I'm home I'll take a photo of my spare and post it up for referance.

First few issues with my Zed
Surely your rear speaker outputs from a modern headunit would already be amplified? So why would you want to amplify them a second time? But saying that I like to see originality in these cars. It could also be that the amp is already there and wired properly and is simply not working! If it is then I happen to have one spare :D

First few issues with my Zed
Headlights - How do you mean 'Blown both headlight bulbs?' What now works/doesn't work when you switch the lights on? There could be one of many answers here and you don't want members suggesting this and that and wasting your time. Brake Light - Do your brake lights work when you press the peddle? there are four bulbs for brake and all you need is one of them out and the warning lamp will come on. Also have the inner brake bulbs been converted to Rear Fog? If so this would answer that, as the detector is not getting a signal from these ones, so would think the bulb/s is/are out. Paint - The laqure will have to be sorted properly by a proffesional. Roof strips - There are a few threads on here regarding various ways of 're-blacking' these strips, or you can buy new ones which work out very expensive. Stereo - Again loads of info here regaring speakers. I would personally recomend JBL's both front and back. As for no sound out of the rear ones I'd think that could be a wiring issue, possible not properly modified from the original rear amplifier. It may be best to run a pair of new speaker cables from the head unit to the rear, as it's not a difficult job to do. Air-Con - There are places around that will do this for you, but remember that you will currently have R12 in the car which is no longer used, so you'll have to find a place that would sort this for you. I hope that is of some help to you. Dave

The Rules is the Rules
Can't break the Rules, Guv, it's more then me job's worth. ******************************* Good news: It was a normal day in Sharon Springs , KS when a Union Pacific crew boarded a loaded coal train for the long trek to Salina. The Bad news: Just a few miles into the trip a wheel bearing became overheated and melted, letting a metal support drop down and grind on the rail, creating white hot molten metal droppings spewing down to the rail. The Good news: A very alert crew noticed smoke about halfway back in the train and immediately stopped the train in compliance with the rules. The Bad news: The train stopped with the hot wheel over a wooden bridge with creosote ties and trusses. The crew tried to explain to higher-ups but were instructed not to move the train! They were instructed “The Rules” prohibit moving the train when a part is defective! Sounds like good management logic !!! Scroll down.... Nice fire!!!! RULES IS RULES! (Don't let common sense get in the way of a good disaster!)

Rear flaps - love them, or hate them?
Mine were last heard of somewhere in Wales!! ;) :confused1: lol

Rear flaps - love them, or hate them?
I like that colour, shame the skirts don't match though, and I don't just mean colourwise either. Personally I'd get rid of the skirts and fit colour coded front spats in their place :cool2:

Rear flaps - love them, or hate them?
Baz, Love the spats, they look spot-on as they are bud and I'd say keep them black. I've always been a big fan of the spats, I think I still own a pair, not quite sure where they are or what's happening to them :innocent: buit I'm sure they are around somewhere!

I've just got to share this........
Vijay, I think you've hit the nail on the head there. I wouldn't be surprised as to what she would tell him, after all she's always had the opinion that I'm living it up  yeah right, as if! I think she lives in some sort of a deluded world. Anyway I'm not responding to any texts, if she wants to phone me or talk directly then fair do, I'll talk to her (he can f**k off!) This new guy sounds like he may have a bit of a temper, and me refusing to 'change my schedule' must of wound him up....... shame ;) I've already had my daughter say to me that he once said to her "Stop f**king winding your mother up, because when she's wound up it winds me up!" (only my daughter didn't say 'F**king', she just hinted to me) and apparently this was said directly infront of my Ex and she agreed!! Nice parenting skills he has there, but I was more annoyed with my Ex for not stopping him from swaring infront of the kids in the first place

I've never really beed keen on that diagonal side swag line that is on the GTV and Spyder, and I see it's here as well.... hmmmmmm! Honestly though I'd be interested to see it completed. But I don't understand as to WHY!? Could be interesting Baz :D - Not usually a fan of 'body conversions'.
