  1. You'll need to take the switch apart, but be VERY CAREFULL!!!!!!!!! it will fall apart, if your not!! Clean all the contacts inside, and carefully put it back together. HTH
  2. The picture you've posted is an old one, from that I'd assume that Altezza have changed the design, and have put the clear section in the centre of the outter lamp. I've had a look on some US sites and the design is the same over there. So, in short, thats all you can get!
  3. I beleive the ZCentre sells these.
  4. 'BLUE' bulbs.............. The standard Halogen bulb still gives off a slight 'Yellow' glow. When a pure white light is needed for display to train drivers, the signalling department install a pale blue filter infront of the bulb, this gives off a proper 'White' illumination. So blue bulbs do the same job, the only problem is that you are putting the light through a filter, and that in itself means that you are reducing the amount of light available, it's just making it a more 'Normal' illumination for your eyes. HTH :o
  5. Same here in Lincolnshire
  6. Hope that helps you out, and welcome to the club.
  7. Forgot to add, please thank your good lady for the coffee, but where were the biscuits?? ;) And how bloody difficult is it to find your house?? According to MultiMap, yours is off the main road, we passed it three times :D  The kids playing footie in the road were getting right pissed off at me
  8. If you want to have a quick read through the first few sections of My Journal, then it's what I noted as I was doing mine last winter. It's not an in-depth report, but just some bits and bobs, might be of interest to you.
  9. The story is funny, but cant look at the pics at the moment as I'm at work :D, will have a look later ;)
  10. One you'll defo need, unless you already have it ;) , is a 27mm socket to get the main pulley off. These are available from Halfords off the shelf. HTH, and wish you luck.
  11. Congratulations to the both of you, hope you had a great day, from Karen and myself. :duffer: :duffer: Is it me, or does the black one look like it's hovering????? ;) Or is it on bricks
  12. CHUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Cheers bud, much appreciated mate, they'll sort mine out a treat

  14. I had this problem a while back, took me ages to finally find the actual problem. Everything checked out OK, new PTU made no difference, wiring OK, even chenged the coil pack plugs, and cleaned everything. In the end I stumbled upon it by accident........................ It was one of the coil packs itself, the rubber housing that fits over the spark plug was split, allowing it to earth under load!! 1 replacement pack later, and I'm running fine now :D Worth a check. HTH
  15. Thats the one I was looking for :D cheers Andy And it shows around the same area as the others, so my connection seems to be working properly again :hyper:
  16. Just installed that, and run it, re-booted, and it's made NO diference what-so-ever :D
  17. Yep, it's the US fitment, totally different to UK/JAP. Incidentley, when you receive your HID kit, you'll see that the new bulb is the same fitment size (H3), but the glass is longer to accomodate the different way it works, and comes complete with EVERYTHING that you need, Bulb, Ballast, and ALL wiring. It's a 'Plug-n-Play' item, you won't regret it :D  I don't!
  18. 912Kbps Yep, about the same, cheers mate :D I'm a happy bunny now ;)
  19. 910.8 kilobits per second Thanks Ken for that, that wasn't the one I was looking for, but it shows that I'm getting about what I'm suppose to be getting :D
  20. I'm after the link to the site that does the Download Speed checking, that was posted on here a while ago. I've been looking and just can't find it anywhere. I've checked out some other ones on-line, but they give the result as one figure, where-as this other one showed you both the Download and Upload separatley (if you see what i mean ;) ) TIA
