  1. Nice one Danny  Yes removing/replacing the air con amp (ECU) is a right pain in the arse, I did mine earlier this year, as the old one didnt work properly, and I wouldn't say it's the easiest job in the world :D Being able to direct where the air goes would be much better, especially if all is needed is the pod and amp.
  2. Always be very, very, very, very, very carefull about downloading programms from any P2P site, this is how I managed to **** my PC up 2 weeks ago, there are some really maliscious (sp?) ****ers out there!! IMHO
  3. FPMSL      That site cracks me up every time I see it!! I see he's re-sprayed his 200SX, not sure if I prefered it the old colour or not. Tim, I've got a pic of his 300 taken at Billing '03, but it's on my PC at home so cant put it up just yet, if you don't get any luck by the time I get the chance to do it, I'll post what I have.
  4. I'm also insured with Norton, and I decleared all my mods to them, and it made no difference at all, and my quote was below £300 on a classic policy aswell. As for being only 21, then if you want a high performance car, you've got to expect that sort of insurance quote I'm afraid.
  5. Have a good one mate :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: :D
  6. :smash: :smash: :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal :slap: Whoooooooops!! :mac1: :D
  7. Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Thats what I'd seen before, and I agree about the price, they were cheaper last time I spotted them.
  8. http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=353 ^^There :D
  9. They are positioned behind the front bumper, approx below the fog/side light unit, to the outside of the grill level, if that makes sense. If you have the original air filter box in there, best way would be to go in from underneath (by removing the plastic trim under there), if you have an aftermarket air filter, you may be able to go in from the lights centre panel. HTH
  10. Was just about to put that, ;) If it's a fresh spill use the 'Kitty Litter', available from most good motor factors, then dispose of it in a safe manner (local council refuge recycling depot)....... It's not really Kitty Litter ;) and I don't think that Kitty Litter would do the same job :D, it's actually Oil Absorbing Granules! Only works on fresh spills properly.
  11. I know want to upgrade the main dash lighting to the same bright blue scheme. I've been searching for the thread posted some time ago, linking to the SXOC where someone there did theirs, but couldn't find it. So I looked on the SXOC forum directly, and found it, so I thought I'd re-post it up again, http://www.sxoc.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?t=133048&highlight=led Should be able to get this mod done over the winter and post some pics, unless anyone has already done this and cares to post their findings? And so as to help people looking in SEARCH mode, some keywords..... LED, Dash, Lights, mod, bulb :D I think that should cover it!
  12. FPMSL      ;)
  13. OK, well I tried, but couldn't get it to focus very well in the dim light...... I took a shot from the boot, again not very good, as it couldn't focus very well. Maybe I left it a little too long
  14. Cheers bud for reposting your right-up on the dash bulbs replacement (http://www.darkbadger.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Docs/LEDs.doc)    Top How-To that is. I've just completed mine, I've done both sides, took about 3 hours or-so. I had to de-solder and then re-solder the bulb mount LEDs on the Lights pod, as someone else has written on your original thread, but other than that it's been fun :D When it gets darker out there I'll take, and post, a pic or two of them all lit-up.Just got to sort somthing out for the main dash now.
  15. 47/70, and I was in Leicester aswell at the time ;)
  16. First, I've seen these before on the US site, and they weren't as expensive as this (cant remember how much though  ) Secondly, with the angle of the zed dash, I think it would be impractible to use!! Either that or you wouldn't be able to hold much in the cup! IMHO
  17. Agree, this car has been up for sale for some time, and it's defo the same dealer, or at least the same photo's. It states that the mileage is verified  how? It's a Jap import. But other than that, it looks very nice, and the price, from a dealer, isn't too bad. And it's got Full Service History, but again, how can they guarantee that it's genuine, as, if it has Jap history, it'll be in Japanese!! And if it's only got UK history, then it probably wont be full, unless it was imported from new! Which, as it's a '98, it could be, and then that would qualify the mileage quote :D
  18. Have a look at THIS THREAD , it might give you some help
  19. Found out why I couldn't find the thread, it was under his other log-on as Ady36UK. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=30895&highlight=ady
  20. He had an accident in his red zed, and wrote it off. Just been trying to find the thread, but cant seem to find it anymore.
  21. A piece of cake :D Two screws under the pod, with two hooks on the inside of the top of it, be gentle with it. Unplug the loom, and you'll see the bulb holders. If you want it looking more 'Funky', then have a look at THIS LINK HTH
  22. Not my cup of tea. Looks like a Micra, with Zed lights, coupled to a elongated bubble car........
  23. 'Bit Torrent ' Sucks!!!!! Limewire all the way for me :D
  24. Whatever floats your boat!!! ;)
