Take a good look at the rear, is the 300ZX in White, Red or Green/Blue?? If it's Green/Blue, then the wire will probably be for an illuminated panel, but no idea why only one wire. Also is the back of the panel flat apart from the two bulb holders? If it does turn out to be an illuminated panel, then it sounds like you're knacked! As, for one, you don't have a second wire, and two, you don't have the inverter attached, so it can't be used anyway (as the 12vdc has to be inverted into 110vac!) Sorry that's not much use to you, but without seeing it, can't really say much. Dave

As title :D ........ well? Mine was overhearing some bloke talking to his lad regarding the various spoilers that were on the Zeds around mine (I was inside with the window down) They were discussing what they liked about each of the three that were on the two red Zeds in front of mine, and my new 99 spec. One was a high-line spoiler and the other was a Monza. In the end they decided that they preferred the 99 spec (and yes they did know what type it was) as it was more subtle! I was quite pleased about that. There were so many things that I did like about the whole day, in general, but the above just struck a chord with me. Another point was introducing Karen to the track time, she was enthralled by all the cars on the track, and now can't wait until Trax and Japfest 2 later in the year (arr, ain't that sweet? ;) ) So what was yours???????????

It doesn't really work here in General, but it would be more apt in Help & Advice. The one that SHOULD be used, especially in here, is NWS!!

Yeah, Karen was going, 'Stop, stop, stop.......... oh no!!' just as the side window went pop! Gutted for you bud, but glad you're both OK. Also got a pic of it back at the club stand, but then so did everyone else I think ;) It was a shame that I'd only just stopped filming, and got the camera out instead, otherwise I'd have got it all on film for you to cherise :D

I used greese-proof paper over the black gunge, so as to keep it off the oven :D works a treat. If you then keep it on all the time untill they are ready to go back on the car, it'll keep it off everything else. The paper then just comes away, but only use greese-proof, and anything else WILL stick and rip when removed.

I was lining up another shot on the track, and Karen told me, so i panned round quickly, hence the 'almost out of the shot' view. Got a few pics of it after the crash, and the video of it being towed off the barrier.

Yeah, but look what happened to Herman and MTL! Both always on the forum doing this and that, got the position of Membership Secretary and you don't see them anymore. Now they may have personal reasons for disappearing, and I'd never be nosey enough to even ask, but it was just strange that it happened like that!

I do beleive that that plate is in the 2001 Nissan US advert for the concept Z33, along with quite a few other nice plates. If anyone who bought one of my DVDs would like to check (as I don't have access to my copy at the mo), it's in section one under the Z33 chapter.

It sure is a 99 spec front, and that's also a 99 spec rear spoiler thats in the boot as well :D

Nothing very special, only 140 up the M6 :D
