  1. Not yet, I've got a whole lot of 'Fettling' to do first, and the 'new' headlamps are being completely stripped and cleaned/painted before the inserts are final fitted. I think I'll be lucky to have them on Eliza for Trax :(
  2. Did you get my cryptic clue? :D Well they need some work, well quite a bit actually, but they will be worth the wait once they are done. The XENON on the lefthand (right on pic) insert is damaged in the mould, so is useless to me, shame as I wanted these still showing! I seem to have acquired a couple of headlamps as well :D Thanks very much to Mark and Martyn for those, it was a nice trip out today picking those up  Yep you'd better, as he's been telling me that I was the last on the list!! Also hope you don't get stung for the duty on them ;) Incidentally, he has quoted on the parcel that they are worth $150, and the shipping cost him $35.50.... I paid him $203, which doesn't add up
  3. Yep a very big congrates to you both :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: Will all three of you be at JAE next weekend?? ;)
  4. Only saw it from the side view as we passed it, so I've no idea :D
  5. CHAV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
  6. Yeah I did take my connector apart yesterday, when I was first looking, but it was perfectly clean. But I'll have a check with the multimeter once I get a chance (hopefully tomorrow) I also have the wire to the cat temp sensor cut on that same side, don't suppose that would make any differance?
  7. Spotted a red zed parked in Lincoln late last night (Saturday). It was parked in a small car park near the University. Spotted it while passing it in our works van, then went the same way later and it had gone. We were on the way for a 'Bunny-Run' in the city centre ;) :duffer:
  8. Edited** No sooner requested than done ;)
  9. Yep we seem to have a hell of a lot of leeches these days, quite happy to receive the information, but not prepared to help others out. I always look through the Help and Advice section to see if there is anything I can do. I love imparting information if I have or know it, makes me proud to be part of this community. :)
  10. ...............................
  11. Arrr, that'll be fun ;) Thanks Graham  A little dissapointed to the response to this, but obviously nobody else knows anything about O2 sensors. Maybe I should of asked a question regarding what second car I should buy, then I'd of been swamped with answers
  12. Oh yeah, that would be helpfull ;) It's greyish smoke, normal zorst smell, not oily!
  13. Cheers Graham....... So, just to get this correct, I place a 12v + onto the red wire, persumably from the battery, and I use the cars ground for the neg. Then place a meter between the cars ground and the white wire, and, if it's working properly, then I should see 0.3 > 0.7volts? Don't want to seem dim, but don't wana bugger anything up at the same time ;)
  14. What discount? never knew we got one!
  15. Noticed earlier that I had smoke coming from my left zorst. I've had the ConZult hooked up to it and I have a code 33 'O2 Sensor (left side) The O2 Sensor is open or shorted (abnormally high or low voltage is registered)' The readout on ConZult is totally steady for the left and moving up and down for the right side, would a faulty sensor cause excessive smoke coming from the zorts? Also how would I check the sensor, is it a case of putting a multimeter on ohms and see what the reading is from the connector? All help appreciated.
  16. That's not the last pic, keep scrolling down ;) Personally I think it's quite good, totally impractical, but good non-the-less. As usual, a lot of time effort and money has gone into it. Non of it is really my taste, but I can appreciate the effort. You can't sit in the back though, as those rams would be in your back all the time, and, it looks like, your going to be hit by the door when it shuts ;)
  17. That wasn't Kelly Le Brock, It was Erika Eleniak
  18. Thanks for that Paul. I've just payed the charges and it'll be delivered on Monday morning. I'll dispute it later.
  19. Apparently it's £44 customs charges!!!! Interesting as the total price I payed, including shipping, was only £113! I'm currently trying to sort it out, but after spending 20 mins on the phone (at a 0870 premium rate number from a mobile) and I was still on hold, I got nowhere! So I've e-mailed them and am waiting to see what happens next. Is there anyway that you can dispute customs charges? As I have the original PayPal receipt, would they accept that as proof of the cost? I suppose it goes down as to what is written on the label. Updates later
  20. Hi Graham, I looked everywhere for something that was as close as it could be, but came up blank. I even asked a few traders if they knew of anything close, but all I got was the info on the genuine ones at £1300, and as I'm not all that much of a fan of side skirts anyway I decided to just have my stonechip fully removed instead. :)
  21. There is a film about called 'The Path Beyond Thought', which is all about Segal's days in his own Dajo (sp?) in Japan, and all the teaching he used to do. I've been a fan of him since his first film (Nico, Above The Law) Did you know that he was the martial arts instructor for the Bond film, 'Never Say Never Again'? Did you also know he's made 29 films (4 of which are still in production)?
  22. Leave it on! It's original, although not quite unique as there are a few around, but it is OEM and un-replaceable! Looks good with the new wheels Tony
