  1. Well guys i don't know if any JDM ones had them for sure either, but, afaik, the attached pic is a Nissan publicity pic for the 99 spec, that WASN'T available in the US and clearly shows chrome alloys. So make of it what you will :D
  2. Oh, and my Journal page on Egypt >> http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/journal.php?do=showentry&e=97
  3. A few words you may need ;) We only found these towards the end of our saty in Luxour last year, so didn't make all that good use of them :D Enjoy your saty mate :duffer: :duffer:
  4. Big congrates Mark :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: All the best mate.
  5. Tony, if you don't like them, then you don't like them! At least you're honest about it ;) Like you say, everyone to their own. Yep, as I've just received a set of chrome centre caps from Courtesy Nissan, that'll look really nice with the wheels.
  6. I remember my wedding day, like it was yesterday............. And yesterday was a real shitty day as well!! :D I was out shopping the other day when I saw six women beating my mother-in-law up. As I stood there and watched, her neighbor, who knew me, said, "Well, aren't you going to help?" I replied, "No. Six of them is enough". Q: What do you do if you miss your mother-in-law?? A: RELOAD, AND TRY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! Two men were in a pub. One says to his mate, "My mother-in-law is an angel." His friend replies, "You're lucky. Mine is still alive." Q: What do you have when your mother-in-law is covered in concrete up to her shoulders? A: Too little concrete! My farther-in-law was driving down the road and was pulled over by a policeman. Walking up to my farther-in-law's car, the policeman said, "Your wife fell out of the car five miles back." My farther-in-law replied, "Thank God for that, I thought I'd gone deaf!" I wouldn't say that my mother-in-law was ugly, but every time she puts on lipstick, it tries to crawl back into the tube. Q: How do you stop your mother-in-law from drowning? A: Take your foot off her head. Q: What should you do if you see your Mother-In-Law rolling around in pain on the ground? A: Shoot her again. Q: What's the difference between a catfish and a mother-in-law? A: One's a scum sucking bottom dweller, and the other one is a fish!
  7. I certainly do :D    They've just cost me a fourtune to have imported! But they'll be worth it when they're on.
  8. Thanks Andy ;) The web address is http://www.pureklas.co.uk, but like I've said above, I haven't picked them up yet. So they'll be on Eliza for JAE if anyone wants to come and see the quality of the finish. The company is based in Coventry.
  9. Just received an e-mail from the place that's doing my alloys. They have polished them to mirror finish and have had them sprayed with a new clear protector, once this has hardened (about five days) then I can pick them up and have them on Eliza ready for JAE  Before.... And after (but not with coating on)... So, what do you think?
  10. Thanks peeps ;) If they take a little longer and just turn up in time for JAE, then I'll bring them down with me, but I'll see how soon they turn up, as I want to get on with the prep work and may have them away for chroming ;) Anyway, if not then can't see why they shouldn't be on Eliza for Bruntingthorpe or TRAX :) Anyway, I'm on nights thei week, so I'm going back to bed :D, night all! ;)
  11. Well he finally contacted me............... and............. I have some more reasons for the delay,
  12. Another question, will there be any Tee-Shirts for this years JAE? Not heard anything on that either this year.
  13. What parts?? Surely the windscreen is easily available? If it's the side molding, then Luke has them at ZCentre. If it's the top clip for the side molding, give me a shout, I have four spares. Best of luck with it anyway bud.
  14. Hrmmm............. a?.... What was the question again?? I'll get mi coat.......................
  15. Fully agree Vini, at the end of the day if all he can aford is £2.5k for a zed, then he isnt going to be able to afford to fix it when it goes wrong (and at that price it probably will), so he'd either best save some more up and buy a decent one, or buy something else less costly.
  16. Oh, what a bloody surprise, I've heard bugger all!!! :headvswal I've sent him yet another e-mail to ask WTF is going on, and not had anything back yet. It really is like getting f****** blood out of a stone! This guy really is a total f****** :xxx: I'm really, absolutely, utterly p***** off with this total ****! the guy is a complete f****** ***hole! :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal Whats the betting that WHEN he bothers to contact me, he spins some line regarding not being able to get hold of them yet again! And I'll have to wait yet another week! Which , of course, won't happen either!
  17. If you do require a brake calliper seal kit, Mike at MJP (traders section) does them. As for replacing them, look HERE HTH
  18. I think the BBC have done a damm good job re-inventing the Doctor. I also didn't see last weeks part 1, but sat here with my kids watching tonights, the special effects are really quite good now(OK, not exactly Hollywood, but who cares?) And the story line was much better than in the old days. Well done to the BBC
  19. Not being rude or anything, but I'm glad you walked away, as that sounds like a real pile of crap, and from a dodgy dealer by the sounds of it!! Patrick(Austin) nice write-up, some usefull information for the less experienced among us
  20.  TBH you're spot on (No offence ForZie :duffer: ) I bought mine for £4500, and I think I'm up to about £9k now, and I don't even have any real power mods either!! I'm not saying that mine was a pile of crap, far from it, most of that is just money I WANTED to spend on it (although my autobox going wasn't planned ;) ) BTW, mine was just a standard Jspec auto TT when I got her. ForZie, as mentioned, try to come down to JAE in two weeks time, and talk to the guys 'n gals from here, and ask whatever you like, as I'm sure I can talk for most on here, we LIKE talking about our cars :D
  21. Yep, nothing wrong with using the car jack, placement HERE (2 Pole lifting points are the same as jack lifting points) SAFETY*** The jack is fine for changing a wheel, but NEVER work under a car purely supported by a jack alone, ALWAYS use axel stands!!!!*******

 Oooooo I think I may give this a go :D just so that I can scare the crap out of Karen  Nice one Rich
  23. Well I've had the new one on DVD for about five months, and still not got around to seeing it yet :D
