  1. That's it. I'm not spending anymore money, until the maintenance is done in a few months time. I've just orded a set of these.... Boost, Water Temp & Oil Pressure + an A pillar pod for them to fit into :D All courtesy of Paul and David down at SWZ, thanks guys  Yeah thanks guys for taking another £200 off me ;)
  2. Yeah it's the same one I've got I believe. Imported from the US, manufactured by IconicDynamics. Good quality
  3. It's brilliant isn't it!!  Half of the bits I'm doing at the moment are like that, but a picture paints a thousand words, so why can't I paint you??................ Hang-on, sorry went into Telly Savalas mode there :x: (Kojak, "Who loves ya, baby?")
  4. Hi Nick... Great minds mate ;) Currently working on a similar path using LED's in the rear clusters (similar to clearcorners.com) But I'm trying to get one project at a time sorted, currently working inside :D But if anyone wants to get rid of an old rear lamp unit, that otherwise wouldn't be saleable (due to too many scratches etc) I'll have it off you. As I don't need it to be used in the end, just for experimentation, afterwards it'll be scraped. Thank you.
  5. Jono...... As hellraiser has said, it depends a lot on whether the quote was for UK or JSpec. Well a couple of cheap JSpecs in out Cars For Sale section..... A 1991 Twin Turbo, automatic 2+2.... >> Click >> http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=86988 S13girly knows her stuff when it comes to Jap metal  (Location, Suffolk) And a 1992 Non-Turbo, Manual 2+2.... >> http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=86805 A fairly well known, and very tidy Zed (Location, Worksop) Just a couple of examples, both of which are attracting a fair bit of interest already. BTW, whereabouts in Lincolnshire are you?
  6. Nice little site that is, good find
  7. Yep, all the best with it Dave :duffer:
  8. Best bet there would be to contact one of the guys that have already done it to give the sort of idea at cost of parts, and probably labour. Or contact someone like Mark (Topless) as I'm sure he would help you out.
  9. Not seen that before, I'm pissing myself here now     Just my sense of humour!! :D
  10. Thanks for that Mat. I was thinking of going for the all white indication marks, with just the chip LED being red. With your info I'll modify the how the light comes back from the chip, so as not to infiltrate the white. Don't want any residual red mixing with the white :D ...... I'd end up with PINK!!!!!! Dave
  11. Well I'm on Nights all this week until next Sunday night, then I've got a week off, so I'm hopeing all my bits I've got coming have turned up by then, so I'll be doing it that week. I'll take pics along the way, and I'll see how they go. It looks simple enough, I've found everything I need for it, so it's just a case of assembling it all. :D Will keep anyone, who's interested, up to date.
  12. It's alright for you laughing, I'm gona have to keep out of Daz's way now, he's a bit bigger than me...... and a lot older
  13. Whoooooooooooooooooo????? :D Hang-on, I'll ask mi dad!!
  14. Told ya! ;) I'll do a full write-up when I do mine, along with other bits 'n bobs ;), and, depending how easy it is to make, I might do a few for other peeps if they want :D
  15. Frank Sinatra & Nancy Sinatra - Somethin' Stupid I'm 40 this April :duffer:
  16. Yes, but it's translated, so don't expect it to make sense  http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/body/?wb_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.zcar-owners.net%2Fclub%2Fdiy%2Fled.htm&wb_lp=JAEN&wb_dis=2
  17. Just found this one on the Japanese Falcon site (don't know why I've not seen it before) Currently ordering the parts, should be able to put it together while I'm doing someother work next week. Internal parts shots...
  18. Standard headlamp.... (well US spec anyway)... 99 Spec headlamp....
  19. Si, I think there is too much 'stuff' in that hole where the air intake pipes are. The only option in that place would be to have an APEXi filter fitted and then remove the extension pipe. As for sliding the ballast into the gap without removing the headlamp unit..... Nope it can't be done, the front of the headlamp hangs over. So it looks like a headlamp out job. There is a 2cm gap below the headlamp, so a ballast that is thicker than 2cm wont fit properly without affecting the headlamp. HTH Dave
  20. You can if you like, it probably wont work afterwards though, but you can!! There that's the answer to the question!! ;)
  21. Not sure on ride height... But the paint code is LP2 Dave
  22. I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Pearl necklace :x: It's white, Can be turbo charged, Can be manual or automatic, Can be Jap or Uk or whatever your taste...... Oh, did I mention taste.. :hurl: :wack:
  23. Thanks bud, might of come up with another idea now, which'll be better :D
  24. I'm considering fitting an aftermarket water temp gauge. Would it be OK to use the original dash gauge sender unti? (see pic) TIA Dave
  25. Mines Pearl!! ;) And a JSpec TT 2+2, but auto!! I'll get mi coat
