  2. Fuggles, Z32 Dave is NOT the only one to mention this, I've already brought it up! And i think you could of just responded more politely (ie; answering the concern without sarcasm) in the first place. This was billed as a parade, not a HIGH SPEED parade. Maybe a lot of the 'other' participants, who have not raised their concern, don't know what 'speed' will be attained. And as for leaving it down to the day, when everyone would have already payed up, is extremely UN-PROFESSIONAL of the organisers (excluding the weather conditions obviously) where people wouldn't want to back out because of time and money already spent! I think if you are asking people to pay money up-front, you should run it in a far more professional way, and answer any questions, no matter how trivial YOU think they may be, in the same said professional way! The fact that 170 haven't raised a concern, and only one has (actually two) makes NO difference, you should respond accordingly.
  3. I can't see the problem with that, but it's down to our photographer :D
  4. Looking at the 7 on the speedo, I'd say it COULD of been tampered with, as it's not in line properly. It should be, because the last digit is only part way from 4 to 5, so the 7 should be full on!!
  5.   Photo's will be posted later, just so that you can see she isn't a porker!! ;)
  6. I would have to ask, will get back to you.
  7. Location - ZedWorld Date - 10th June We have Banzai magazine interested in a feature!!! Sorry peeps, but NO spectators! Right guys 'n gals I'm currently in the process of putting together a photo shoot. I have the use of a model, a photographer for the day and we have a location. What I NEED to know is.... Who's interested in a (female) model posing with their Zed?? :D Now this won't be a freebie, it'll cost, but the more GUARANTEED members that are up for it, the cheaper it'll be for all. But, like I've said, I need to know names. The location in the centre of the Midlands, so I'm sorry if you're up in Scotland or the opposite direction, but I'm trying to keep it central. Date wise........ This Sunday, 10th June. I'll post more details as and when I have any........ So let's get some names..... 1. Daves_Zed 100% CONFIRMED 2. bantambunny 100% CONFIRMED 3. mgh297 100% CONFIRMED 4. Ceejay/Shel ZX 100% CONFIRMED 5. FASTREDZ 100% CONFIRMED 6. Artztogo 100% CONFIRMED 7. konrad 100% CONFIRMED 8. 8. Thanks for the compliment, but that isn't my Zed ;) The car in the pics (with the interior fitted) belongs to SUFFOLKZX. I nicked the pics off him :D (and yes, he does know about it) Arr, that's because JSpec series one's have lap only belts (that's what mine is)
  9. No such thing as an R36 (well not yet anyway) The R35 should be out soon though!! :D
  10. Glad you've sorted it bud ;) She looks very nice mate. The up/down switches are for the series five on. Yours is defo a series four (as disscussed) I see you've got an air bag as well. Correct about the lack of boost gauge as well. Hope to see you at the next meet bud. All the best with her :D
  11. Sorry, but I beg to differ! That plastic part was available on series one Zeds as well (I've got the brochure) Speedemon, I got mine with the rest of the parts for the seat belts, so it's down to the person who is selling them. They are only held on with those serrated washers that you push on one way, but they don't come off very well (if you know what I mean)
  12. Have you checked your Spam File? As I sent for mine three times before I noticed it sitting there!! ;)
  13. Right guys, I've looked into this, as I'll be doing it again soon ;) If you use silicon, then it won't be plyable if you ever need to take them apart again! The best stuff to use is Mastic (if you use grey, then it's the same as original), which is available from most builders merchants, It'll seal to watertight, and is flexable enough to do the job, and would still come apart again later if required. HTH
  14. Any time bud, are they big enough for you??!! ;)
  15. I would say that you have two differant faults, as rear fogs on imports are (as you are probably aware) not factory fitted, so the wiring loom has nothing to do with each other. Or at least it shouldn't unless some dim-wit has bodged something together!! As for the fog, as above you're going to have to start tracing. As for the tail/stop lamp, do you have an indication on the dash (lower right side below peeedo) that is illuminated when the lights are on, or you brake? If not, and your lamps are still not illuminated, then you have a fault here as well but this could simply be the dash indication bulb either blown or missing, but it could also be the 'Black' box attached to the right rear lamp assembly. use the wiring diagram to help you trace what should be where >> http://300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=el&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=57&design=default&total=133 HTH Dave
  16. Mine from a while ago.......

Personally it doesn't bother me either way, as I've got a nice big 19" And my screen's quite big as well :D

I don't know how it's done. Here are two from the JapGirls site, Lets Drift and Stealth's sigs..... As you can see from Lets Drift's sig, it's been automatically cut short on the bottom edge, whereas Stealths one is purposely made to size!
  20. Daves_Zed replied to a post in a topic in General Discussions - Non 300ZX
Mines alright :D You can limit the size of sigs using the vBulletin software! Then we'd all have to have smaller sigs, or just not see them!
  21. I wonder where they got the design from??!! ;)
  22. Ben..... Remove the stop pins, turn the ignition on (WITHOUT starting the car) and the needles for rev and speed should be as low as they can go. If not replace them so that they are. With your windows closed, take her for a ride, preferably with someone in another car that can test you speed. Once you're sure it's reading correctly again, replace the pins and fully re-assemble the dash. HTH Dave
  23. I was answering Jay's two questions.... YES, there is an electrical connector under the seat, and NO he isn't just sprouting crap :D
