  4. Depends what mood I'm in. I have quite a lot of stuff on the main PC, which is what I use mostly. But I also like listening to the radio on iTunes, there a loads of different channels on there. And theres nowt wrong with the 80's music :D I'm old enough to have lived through it properly ;)
  5. I'll post more news as and when I have any :D
  6. Well the second chapter is (still) on the way, hopefully soon though. ;) Anyway heres a few stills and concept artwork from it to keep those that are interested going for a while...................
  7. Here you go bud >> http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=20247 Can't say that it'll be 100% accurate, as there are various factors to be taken into account. But it does seem to be fairly accurate to most people. Please note this was taken from my 1992 JSpec import, just ignore the Pioneer bit in there, as i did it for my old head unit initially. HTH Dave
  8. Absolutely no problem whats-so-ever. Anything else, just give me a shout :D
  9. Yep, that's what the regulator is.
  10. Thanks Mike for that, I'll pass all this info onto her. But, like I say, she's gota sell the house first :D
  11. Thanks for all of that Dan, much appreciated mate  I'll pass all that on to her, although i can see that I'll end up going to view any with her anyway ;)
  12. :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal Forgot to add the bloody link!! http://www.aus300zx.com/tech/window.htm
  13. A rather good lady friend of mine will soon be in the market to better her car. She's been to the likes of JAE, JAPS etc, and is quite taken with an MX 5. She's no petrol head for starters so won't be looking at huge power outputs etc, but does like a nicely turned out car, if you know what I mean. Now why she wants a full convertible is beyond me, as she's never even liked me having the T-Tops off of my Zed, as it ruffles her hair up!! Anyway, if anyone could give me any buying advice, tips and things to look out for, it would be appreciated, as I have no idea as to what to look for in these cars. Now she's currently selling her house, and should come out with enough profit to obtain a decent model, but we're probably talking of about a couple of months before she's actually ready yet............ but pre-warned is pre-armed!! :D Thank you in advance. Dave
  14. Lol ;) The closest info (and photo) I can find for you (as I don't have a photo myself) HTH
  15. Yes it does. There are two small relays within this modual that control the drivers window regulator motor. Correct. Wiring page here >> http://300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=bf&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=12&design=default&total=46 HTH bud. Dave
  16. 405 viewings of this thread, and we only have 14 members who want a professionally taken photo shoot of their Zed with a model (or without in fairladyzgirl's case ;) ) Please remember, the more members we have in this, the cheaper it is for all. And where are all the show winning Zeds we have in this club? (no disrespect to those that have already shown interest)
  17. The one on the left is the window control modual. The other one looks more like the 'Lights Out' relay from the rear right hand light cluster!!
  18. First things first.... Welcome, you've come to the right place ;) Second, the Buyers guide >> here >> http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm print it out, and take it with you when you go to view one!! I did, best bit of advice I got at the time. As for year....... Differences between years >> http://www.300zx.org.uk/model_variations.htm And a good source of general info >> http://www.300zx.org.uk/ Import and UK spec, well that'll depend on you quite a lot as well, age, length of driving, driving history, where you live, in fact all the usual stuff. You could always ask if someone near you, that is a member on here, would consider coming with you on a viewing, maybe for a pint or two!! My personal advice, read! Read as much as you can on here, do your research, know what you want before you actually start looking, as there are quite a lot out there. Also, decide on your top budget price, adding the usual stuff like insurance and how much you'll be using it etc. Best of luck. Dave
  19. I don't think WD40 would touch it personally. This is mastic and has different properties to the stuff used to seal the rear lights. Apart from scrapping it off, I'm not sure. With scrapping it though I'm not sure if it would work best warm or very cold, as warm it'll go gooey, but cold it might hold more to the casing.
  20. I don't think he's a sub'd member anymore! Hence no PM's
  21. Full, forum based, write-up >> http://www.z32.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/300zx/picthread.html
  22. Sorry Dave, but I won't vote, as, like I've said on the other thread, I'm out for good, no longer bothered even if the speed is reduced. The damage to, what should of been a promotional event for the entire Z community, is done as far as I'm concerned. A mis-managed, selfish approach and lack of concern for those less proficient at circuit driving is not what this event wanted. I really do hope that everything runs smoothly for all concerned, as I'm sure it probably will (well it had better)! And for anyone who doesn't agree with me, well that's your opinion, but I'm not saying another word on the subject (unless it's in private via PM only).
  23. As far as I'm concerned, I'm out. Not interested in doing 100mph with other non-experienced drivers in such close proximity. My car is worth a damm sight more than that to me. The rest of you are welcome to it.
