  1. Agreed!!!! ;) 10 out of 10 every time!!
  2. Slow? Not with my Pentium D 3.2 it isn't, even with all the extra 'Power Hungry' features mines running a hell of a lot faster than I had XP running with a Pentium P4 3.0!!
  3. Now I've seen this a lot, a fair few people are knocking Vista all the time, I really don't see the problem  Now I know there are software/hardware issues, but that's really down to the software/hardware manufactures to sort out. Useability? It is once you are used to it, just the same as when XP came out, I was used to NT & 2000, so it took me a while to get used to, other than that I really don't see why people always have to gripe about a new product that they've not given any real time to using! IMHO ;) At the end of the day, it's on my computer, and I like it so far. Now I'm sure there will be days when I hate it ;) But then that'll probably be down to "Operator Error"!!
  4. As title, I'm working my way around it all. Just thought I'd take a snap-shot of the Aero fetures (as I've just discovered how to make it look like this!)... Do you like my clock?! :D
  5. The only difference between the two switches is that the symbol on the switch is slightly different. On the JSpec the lines, coming from the lamp pictogram, are diagonally downwards, right to left, and on the UK spec the lines are straight, left to right! If you have a look through the second Word.doc of the Fog Lamp FAQ you'll find a picture of a nice round chromed rear fog lamp, these are available on the internet, and, imho, are a lot more pleasing to a rocker switch. HTH Dave
  6. Some of you lot worry me at times!! ;)
  7. It's not for Stacy, it's for me :D Not saying why at the moment, you'll see on the day  All i can say, is that I'm up to something with stacy!!!!!  :p Do you have a black one I could borrow on the day, and is it one with velcro, or a tie-up one? (as i can't tie a bow to save my life)
  8. This looks like it's going to be a great day out for you all, my best wishes that everything goes smoothly on the day. Shame I can't be there!
  9. Don't see where you're coming from? You can control the direction properly! That's the whole reason I changed mine over (Cheers Danny  :duffer: ) It's just a combination of presing the button, or just leave it down to theecu to do it for you. In fact I really only change mine when I want extra warm toes in the winter, or Karens in the car, but then she always complains she's cold anyway
  10. First post is now updated again. Just waiting for a couple of 100% confirmations to arrive, and a couple of don't knows. Thank you people  Dave PS- Stacy, I've just got to locate a bow tie!! ;)
  11. It's OK, don't mind me!!
  12. But the speedo's arn't, as mine is a Jap assembly with a UK speedo fitted to it!!
  13. As far as I'm aware, (and I'd love to be corrected, as I know I'm right :D )the odometer is separate from the rev counter or speedo! So why not just place the new speedo etc into the old housing leaving the old odometer in place? See problem solved.... Unless you're going to say that you've actually damaged the odometer while fitting your new dial faces, in which case "How the hell did you manage that?" ;)
  14. I must of missed this  I'm up for it, as long as I can sort it around work.
  15. This is defo where my plate falls foul of the law, it is physically smaller, and the lettering is also smaller, although it is the correct font used.
  16. Wahooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All on and sorted :D Pm's have been sent out to all with the latest FULL details, please respond to them and give me any feedback. One thing I forgot to mention in the PM, is that we will have some sort of magazine cover, as Banzai are interested, but I've got to sort something on this yet!! ;) I thank you :D Dave
  17. Yeah, I think ;) Great fun, I'm not a trained operator, but was shown what to do, and how to do it, so had a play for a while :hyper:
  18. It is unfortunate that some members have had to cancel, but each person has their own reason, and I respect that. It is a shame that this is falling apart at the last minute, but to be honest I did expect this to happen, hence the PM's I sent out last night. We currently have ten members that are still willing to attend, but to be quite frank that's not enough. Dividing Stacy's fee alone will work out at £25 per car, to that I've got to add in Simon's costs (our photographer) Even taking a complete stab-in-the-dark (and DON'T quote me on this!) at Simon's cost, I'd say we'd have to put another £20 on to Stacy's costs. So that's around £45 per car just for the shoot, let alone your own travelling costs. I need some real serious answers back on this within the next 24 hours, or I will be cancelling it. It won't be fair on Stacy, Simon and Jeff to let them down any later than that. Dave
  19. I've played with one of these :D............ They are great fun :D
  20. Now make that three defo out and one possible! Still only nine YES's This is not looking very good, and I mean really NOT looking good, as I'm ready to pull the plug on this for good! Ten cars is not a big enough figure to make it cost effective, as it'll possibly put the price up to around £40 -£50 per car!! Your thoughts are URGENTLY required!!
  21. Aaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you ever wish you'd never started something? Two members defo out, one maybe out! Nine defo 'In's' So out of fifteen PM's sent, I still require three answers. So I'm going to post on another site to see if we can get the numbers up a little more. Already tried ZClub, total waste of space that was!!
  22. If he'd tried booking me then I would of brought it up, along with the fact that there was the Ferrari parked on the path, it was the High street and shoppers were trying to get past (Not particularly wide at that point) I think I was a bit more stunned that after trying to help him get out of the side road, he then pulled me! :slap:
  23. Well I've not done too bad, it's been illegal for two and a half years now, and this is the first time, and I've got away with it   It's not like I'm always breaking the law  :nono: :x: ;)
  24. No, because, like I said, I 'BLUFFED' him! The law states that if you can phisically fit on a standard UK plate, then you should do so. So you see, you can fit a UK plate on all of the OEM JSpec front bumpers, it's just the rear one where you can't fit a proper size one on. Even though i have by fitting a UK rear bumper ;) At least he didn't say anything about my glowing rear centre panel :D although I'd of kept to the same stance about that as well, it's a factory option!
