Name That Film, Multiple......
OK, just before I have to bugger off to work, I thought I'd post these few more up all in one go :D One virtual pint for each CORRECT answer (as in, it must the the FULL, PROPER film title!!) I'm running out of car based films, without using certain obvious ones, but I may do those tomorrow, but find really obscure scenes :D 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) All five correct answer will be posted after 10 tonight, have fun!!

Name That Film 3
Spot-on, the original (and better) XXX, as opposed to the XXX, The Next Level, which was OK. This one has been the longest running of the four Name That Film threads this morning, so I know what i have to do next time ;) I'll do some more either tonight, or tomorrow morning, but alas work beckons in a while :( Bazza, :duffer: :duffer: well done :D

Name That Film 4
Well spotted mark :duffer: :duffer: Your prize :D

Name That Film 4
OK, this is the last one (Well at least for now anyway :D) A little bit more obscure this one, unless you really know your car chase/action films ;) As with the other three, a virtual pint or two to the first correct person. Again, no clues :D

Name That Film 3
Nope, sorry.

Name That Film 3
:D OK, let's see who's a car film buff with this one. Again, a virtual pint, in fact I'll make it two virtual pints for this one (Oooo, arn't I generous!!) Again, no clues.

Name That Film 2
I'm going to have to find some more difficult ones at this rate :D Well done, one minute again, another virtual pint given away this morning ;) :duffer: I'm looking through my DVD collection right now for the next one :D
-
Name That Film 2
lol ;) As title, this one could prove to be a little more difficult ;) Again, no clues (well unless no one gets it by the time I get back from work tonight)

Name That Film........
In one minute :duffer: Excellent work there :D TBH it would of been a disgrace it it had taken any longer :D Awesome film, just got the re-mastered/extended version on DVD. Gona watch the extended version as soon as I've got the time (never realised it's over two hours long!!) The Blues Brothers has got to be the best car chase film EVER, it's certainly got the most cop cars wrecked in it!

Name That Film........
As title, virtual pint to the first person with the correct answer :D "Would you like anything else sir?" "Yes, do you have a Miss Piggy?" No clues, if you don't know this, then SHAME on you!!! ;)

Different Series Zeds
Totally agree with Vini. Mines a late JSpec series one, but I have the series two Air-Con control, 99 spec front bumper and rear lights. Rear UK bumper but with illuminated side markers in it (unique AFAIK) The possibilities are endless!! :D

Photo Shoot Of Your Zeds........
As soon as I have a price for the photographer I'll be sending out PM's to all concerned, and will be asking for a 50% deposit (this is so that I'm NOT left with a fooking great bill at the end of it all!!) I'm still amazed that we can't even get twenty members interested in this! I'm surprised that three members din't even bother to respond to my PM's!! And I'm now just waiting for all the members that can't be bothered to pay up when the time comes, or am I just becoming a little too cynical?? ;) We'll see.

These are the JBL's, they are a good speaker. Do a search, I believe that Legrath was selling some the other week, worth a look. http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/2964.html Dave

Photo Shoot Of Your Zeds........
Things are 'A-Foot' ;) I'm still working on this everyday I get the chance (in between work), so i do have a couple of things in the pipeline at the moment. I certainly DON'T want this to die, and currently the worst that could happen is that it could be postponed, but I'm currently working on something as we speak :D with the lovely Stacy    ;) :nono: NO! not like that you dirty minded lot :D

interior strip
Hi bud, the best bit of direct info I can give you is to study the workshop manual. Pages 16 & 17 should be all you need, as it shows you all the fixing points (OK, it's left hand drive, but just reverse them) Link to page 16 here >> http://300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=bf&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=16&design=default&total=46 (click on page for next one) HTH Dave

Photo Shoot Of Your Zeds........
Leigh (friday), our original photographer, does have a very good reason as to why he can no longer do this for us, and I fully agree with him on that. So far I've had a couple of offers, of which, so far, have come to nothing! This has also been posted on the ZClub site, but without any decent response so far. It really is like getting blood out of a stone within the Z community, people always complain about this and that, but are never prepared to put out themselves, unless it's to boost their own image! It always amazes me, that when I was a member of the Capri club, you'd always see members doing this and that and people would always join in, and that was without the aid of the internet, but on here you never see that level of enthusiasm at all. **This is not an attack on any individual, but just a generalisation ;)

Illuminated rear panel.
The light is emitted from an Electro-Luminescent (EL) strip, these supply the colour. The inverter is to change the 12vdc into 110vac. As for changing the colour, now that is a different kettle of fish altogether (WTF are fish doing in a kettle in the first place  ) If you have a genuine one, I believe (but have not seen one apart) that they have a plastic surround to support the EL sheet within the rear panel. They also have a decent inverter as well. As for the 'Home-Made' ones, these are simply an EL sheet taped to the inside of the rear panel over the 300ZX' logo, with the two wire soldered to it. Either way, separating the panel isn't easy at all, and you stand a good chance of cracking it while doing so, then it's in the bin and a new one required!! Full description(with pics) on how to open the panel and modify it is here >> http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnettech/illrp/illrp.html As for wiring it upto the cars loom, if you want to keep your 'Lights-Out' circuit working, then attach the inverter to the number plate wires, as these will not affect the 'L-O' circuit at all, and they are nice and handy being directly below the centre panel. HTH Dave
