Drove all the way from Karen's place to my work this morning (43 miles), in all the bloody horrible weather (it was P'ing it down) with no problems whats-so-ever! Come out of work this afternoon and find my rear near side tyre flat! And I mean completely :confused: Dropped it off with the tyre place, went back to see how they were getting on with it, to find that there is a split in the tyre, and it's not repairable!! I only bought my two rears for my MOT last December :cry: *****X!!! I'm currently skint until pay day, which is next Friday, and the credit card is maxed out, so can't even use that. So it's going to be at least two weeks before I can get a new tyre fitted! How fast can I drive on the spare? I don't mean silly speeds, I just mean like motorway driving, not that I'll be doing very much over the next two weeks!

Offer still stands :D I'm more than happy to swap my full leather OEM ones for your OEM Recaro ones :D And, BTW, mine are good quality UK black leather, complete with properly repaired drivers side bolster.

I do almost all my own mechanical work, although she has got to go in for some pretty major (well major for me anyway) work to be done sometime soon. I've spoken to Mark and Martin (Zen Garage, Alford) before regarding this work, and will probably use them for it, as soon as I can afford all of it in one go! As for Crystals ;), yes I have used them. I had my auto-box reconditioned (not by them), picked it up on the Saturday,then took it to JAE on the Sunday, went to reverse into the parking area, and nothing, as the linkage had fallen off!! Anyway, the garage said I was to take it into my local Nissan dealer and they'd reimburse me, which they did, and I was happy with their work at crystals. The sales guy also let me drive a couple of 350's even though he knew I wasn't going to buy one (One of which was the Yellow Gran Tourismo! :D ) Was it your Zed that I placed a window card on in ASDA's car park?? :D Dave

A very fair comment Sarah, the apathy around here is astonishing at times. I sometimes feel this is only a place where people think they can only get information, not for real enthusiasts! Or maybe I'm just living in the past?! :confused:

I just want to promote the club properly, that's all. After all ALL the other clubs that have attended for the last five years, that I've been going (only ever missed the first one), have always displayed their club banners/gazebo's etc. Well, we'll see what turns up.

I see that Danny will be there in his DTA capacity, will there be other traders present, will there be other food facilities, or is the club solely providing food/drink etc? I ask because I don't see this mentioned anywhere else. Also are we just talking about the ZClub and 300zx.co.uk parking there cars in a field and talking or is there something else planned there?

Oh God NO!! Defo not my cup of tea, although maybe some bits on their own would suit in the right place, but not all together like that!
