Midz member list
Yep, there's at least 14 that, for one reason or other, no longer come here! Probably best to start again with a fresh list. Maybe lock this one, rather than delete it, and open a new one where people who actuall attend and those that want to attend can place their name down :D

I'll say ;) I also doubt that 70% of those have ever attended a Monthly Meet! :smash:

Midlands Meet - Sunday 28th October 2007
Following the breaking down incident last Friday, I decided to leave her for 24 hours before being trailered back home. This was a big mistake as she was left in ASDA's car park at Oadby! When we got back on Saturday evening that's when the damage was noticed. To say that I'm P155ed off is an understatement! Also the replacement CAS hasn't solved the non-starting problem, so she isn't going anywhere now :(

Non-Starter! Major Help, Please!
Just the facts...... She wont start She will turn over She would initially fire but die instantly, now she wont fire at all There is fuel at the outlet from the fuel filter I've fitted a replacement CAS (as suggested as it was extremely hot) Further info (if needed)... I took her for a 45 mile run last Friday late afternoon, parked her, and then when I came back to her she wouldn't start. It initially fired but died instantly, and would do this for a few more attempted starts. Now it won't fire at all. Unfortunately it's now dark out there so I've had to give up for today, so it's yet another walk to work again tomorrow :( Please help guys if you can :) EDIT* I've hooked DataScan and there is no fault codes.

FLZ burgandy/ brownish in Grantham
Oooooo I missed this ;) Yep probably me (can't remember for sure) The colour is Cherry Red Pearl, it's a genuine JSpec/US colour only and not availble in Europe. Looks much better when it doesn't have three deep dents/scratches on the rear quarter panel

Midlands Meet - Sunday 28th October 2007
Sorry guys 'n gals Eliza (nor myself) will be available this time :( I'm currently skint........ And Eliza isn't very well at the moment. Apart from the fact that the CAS has gone up **** creek, with no paddle(*1), I also have a noisy Air-Con pulley tensioner(*2). I also now have three rather nice, half inch deep, dents in the drivers rear quarter panel  which, as I'm sure you can appreciate, I'm not very happy about! MOT due back end of Nov, so I'll get it through that (hopefully OK) then it looks like it's time I'll be seriously selling her, for a sensible price! *1 = Very quickly managed to secure one  John. *2 = Anyone got a spare one, that's in good condition? Dave

Orange Broadband (again!!)
To answer two points here..... 1) 74Gb was an average over the two months ;) I forgot to mention that part. 2) I put up with them because I'm in a contract with them, simple really. But I won't be with them once the contract is over in February. Oh, and not one single byte of any of the downloading was porn!

Orange Broadband (again!!)
It depends what you're downloading ;) But isnt really the point, if it's supposed to be Unlimited, then that's what it should be! If it was stated as 40Gb, then I'd of known in the first place, which I didn't. Arr well, I'll be out of contract for the internet with them in February, so they can F Off from then :D The connection speed has been crap in the evenings from day one, and whenever I complain about it I'm told that it's only 'UP TO' 8Mg speed, and depends on the distance from the exchange........ I live about 500 yards from it, and am lucky to obtain 6Mg max! Normally in the evenings I'll only have 1.5Mg tops. Never had any probs with AOL at my old house which was 1 1/2 miles from the exchange.

Orange Broadband (again!!)
I've just come off the phone to them, following a letter I received today. Basically, because I've exceeded the 'Fair Use Policy', they will be reducing my connection speed from (upto) 8Mg down to .5Mg (YES that is half meg!) as from the 22nd Oct. They state that I downloaded over 74Gb in July/August and that is outside their Fair Use policy', which they NOW tell me is set at 40Gb per month! But you try finding it written anywhere on the Orange web site...... It's simply not there at all! It wasn't when I signed up, and it still isn't now! So after a very long conversation on the phone with them, I got nowhere and will have to put up with the downgraded speed for six weeks! So BEWARE, their UNLIMITED Broadband ISN'T! It's a con, and (AFAIK) against the advertising Standards for the UK.

4 wheel alignment recommendation in south yorks?
May be a bit far away for you, but I've just had mine done this morning, at Tanvic Tyres, Grantham. Now I'd assume that a few other of their branches will do this as well. Ask at you local Nissan Main dealer, as they'll now where they take theirs, that's what I did and got a much better answer than the place that fitted my new tyres!! There is a place in Nottingham, that has come highly recommended on here before, but I can't remember the name at the moment  HTH Dave
