Resprayed Scuttle Panel
Just over £100 for both sides, trust me, you wont get away with just one, if you want it to look decent! And it comes with new fixings as well. Here >> http://www.zcentre.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_44_78&products_id=175 Well worth it, especially if you go for a full set of the roof trims as well :D (NO, I'm not on commission ;) )

dip-dim location.....headlight problem
The location diagram in the manual isnt specific enough. If it is under the near side front wing then yes it will be a arch liner removal job. But from the looks of the diagram it could also be on the inner wing in the engine compartment, or even behind the front passenger side kick panel! Sorry I can't be of anymore help. Dave

Yeah I downloaded it as well :D But still one for the car though ;) There is a lot of Electronic music out there that has nothing to do with copying or sampling other peoples work in any form. In fact there has been electronic music around since the early 70's (FACT = The Teleharmonium (or Telharmonium) was developed by Thaddeus Cahill in the years 1898-1912.) :D Bands such as.... A Flock of Seagulls Depeche Mode* Duran Duran* Devo New Order Gary Numan* Ultravox But the epitomised pioneers of that era were, undoubtedly, Kraftwerk way back in the 70's, and still going today! * Music writers and performers, still going today, non of which sample others work! ie; REAL MUSICIANS! :D

Horrible indicator stalk!
I drive mine as my daily driver, but also used to have an Escort for work (at one time) but it feels about right to me. You wana try driving the new transit, the indicator stalk on that is real pants, they've managed to put it just at full finger stretch with your hands on the wheel! the old stalk was much better positioned! :D

warning - indiglo dial is buggered!
What you have with electro-luminescent sheets is a positive and a negative sheet sandwiched together. They have 110vac running through them, that has been inverted from the 12vdc supply that has been supplied from the battery (as stated, no much current but a lot more voltage) If you bend them in anyway at all you stand a very good chance of shorting the two half's out. This will do one of two things, either stop the sheet from glowing, or, worse case scenario, burn out the inverter. Best bet on fitting them if the is a space issue, would be to mod the housing and not the sheet/fittings. Dave

These any good? Look like a bargin!
And what's wrong with a nice original Polonez then???

These any good? Look like a bargin!
It greatly depends on the shipping company (courier) as to whether you get charged for customs, but it's also random! If UPS is used then you'll defo get charged! Same goes for a lot of stuff Parcel Force Worldwide deliver as well. I have found that anything sent from the states by US Postal service hasn't (so far) been hit with customs charges, but that's no guarantee. Also there is no lower limit as far as I know, I've had stuff for sub-£200 that has been charged before. You-pays-your-money-and-takes-your-chance!

H.I.Ds fitted and sidelights wired up
Oh yeah, that's it ;) The problem with that is if you have HID's then you'll be flashing them with just the earth mod, which isnt really a good idea.

H.I.Ds fitted and sidelights wired up
No, I can't remember without going into the full details again, but I beleive just earthing it out doesn't do the full job. ** That write-up isn't by me ;)

Non-Starter! Major Help, Please!
Thanks guys for all the help, it's been really appreciated    Wahoooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;) SORTED!!! :D The fault was where the alarm/immobiliser was cut into the fuel pump feed wire. Basically I checked for voltage either side of the cut while I was cranking the engine and there was no output from the immobiliser! So I've cut in a new length of wire into the loom and by-passed the immobiliser and it fired first time! :D So it looks like a new alarm is required, either that or cut in a secret/hidden fuel switch like was fitted to my old XR4i :) Dave

H.I.Ds fitted and sidelights wired up
There you go, the mod for having the dip beam remain on with the full beam. Two part Word Doc as it's easier for uploading :D
-
H.I.Ds fitted and sidelights wired up
Correct! And to anyone who says that 'They will burn out too quickly' or whatever..... How often do you really use your high beam? I hardly ever use mine, and as for flashing someone, well maybe once in two months or so. So the life expectancy wont really be affected much at all.

Non-Starter! Major Help, Please!
Thanks for all of the help guys, but..... I'll cut to the chase, after spending all day ****ing around, I've managed to flatten the battery again, but the last check I've done is to find out that the fuel pump isn't running - no pressure in the fuel line and no power to the pump. The fuel pump relay is clicking, as and when it should be. Battery is on charge again, so will start again in the morning. Going to check again if I'm getting 12v on the output from the relay AND at both sides that the immobiliser is cut into the wire to the pump (as I can't rule out the alarm at the moment) I am 90% convinced it's a fuel problem, it's just a case of finding what isn't working as it should be. Again, thanks guys  Dave
