  1. Yes mate all is well thanks. I do have a new Zed, but not quite as before ;) .....
  2. Hi Gaz, I do pop in from time to time ;) and yes agreed, looking very nice bobba
  3. :lol::lol::clap::thumbup:
  4. Yeah that's not good, take it easy Jeff :cool2:
  5. I'm still here from time to time James, alas no longer Zedding though :( Some good 'ol names here :)
  6. Whoops wrong quote, and can't edit! lol
  7. It's been done bud ;) A number of years ago I did this to my old one. Proper twin working fogs without butchering your rears light units in any way. Also working JSpec side markers :tt2:
  8. 8D? that didn't work properly, lol groover, don't suppose you did any photo's of your LED conversions did you? You could put a How-To up on the MG forums, they love those sort of things :D
  9. Thanks guys, appreciated as always... love to all ;) groover, this has had loads spent on it by previous owners, in fact the only thing it's not had is the SS under pipes which it'll be getting soon. Oh and a nice set of roll hoops (but they are f***ing expensive!). As for LED's, I've already put them in the footwel and the mirror downlights :) It's my daily driver now, even though Angie keeps trying to take it off me and make me drive her shopping cart Focus! lol I'll keep popping in to keep an eye on you all 8D DZ
  10. Thanks Gary. It was fun driving the Alfa I got of Baz, but it eventually had to go in favour of something that actually worked properly ;) This 'F' is supposed to be only a stop-gap until we have the funds to buy something 'better', but the way we are feeling the 'better' will probably be a 2010/11 last production SAIC (China produced) very low mileage MG TF with all the knobs and bells on it :) and I have the full approval of Angie as she loves the car too!! Which is a huge bonus ;)
  11. After selling Eliza back in 2010 I thought it was time I bought myself another red sports car. Ok, it's not a 300 and it's nowhere near as powerful or as fast/quick, but it is a two seater and it is a 1999 spec :) It's the 1999 (MKII) MGF :w00t: and I bought it for a song with not much wrong with it, just a few notes to bring it up to scratch. Absolutely loving the open-top motoring, in fact every opportunity I get the roof is off. I honestly think that these little cars are so under-rated. They may not be overly fast but they are bags of fun. Oh yeah and I've had all the hairdresser jokes already  Just thought I'd pop in a mention it
  12. Hi Andy, I fully appreciate your position mate, sorry to hear that you're selling her, a very nice zed indeed. Absolutely loved mine, and miss her tremendously, but alas the past is the past and I can't turn time back (wish I bloody could though!) I hope you find your mo-jo mate and all the best with her.
  13. Thanks peeps, it's all really appreciated. Yep we're really happy, in fact I've never been this happy (not even last time I got married!! lol) Riveira Maya is a fantastic place, we'd love to go back sometime, I'd even go back to the same hotel given the chance it really was that good. Going to try to get on here as much as I can. On another issue I've just noticed that my Rep Power has shot up to 20, yet it was 0 the other day! Has my previous Rep from the old forum been taken into account? confused.com!
  14. Hiya peeps, Even though I've come back after a couple of years away, I've been a little busy these last few weeks. The guys who are on my Facebook page will probably be sick of seeing why by now ;) lol Anyway, I got married on Saturday 11th May, to the gorgeous Angela, so the last bits of organising was taking up most of my time (I think I was lucky to post the odd thing on FB, let alone get on here!) Then we jetted off to Mexico and down toPlaya del Carmen on the Riviera Maya, to a fantastic hotel complex, the Ocean Maya Royale, by H10. WOW what a place! Absolutely AWESOME (to use the American!) We could not of wished for anything better, and the staff could not of done more for us, we really were well looked after. Angie encouraged me to learn to swim especially for the honeymoon, so I've been doing that for the past year (I'm still not very good at it, but I get by just). That's now made it possible to enjoy snorkling in underground rivers, parasailing, zip-wiring into the sea and (by far my favorite experience on the whole time away) swimming with dolphines!! :w00t: Even being forced along through the water by two dolphines pushing against my feet!! What an experience! Oh yeah I climbed the last pyrimid in Mexico that you can, bloody hell that was high. Very, very HOT all the time we were there and quite wet but that was either in the sea of in the pool  and the drinks were flowing quite a lot as well! We came back on monday, then it was back off down to London again last night to the O2 to see Depeche Mode. The first time in 11 years for me and Angies first time seeing them ever. Oh, the the first time in the O2... bloody hell it's high and steep! lol Alas it's now back to working 12 hour days for the foreseeable :(
  15. So what was wrong in the end? Or did I miss that bit
  16. I just happened to click on one of those 'suggestion' on the eBay home page, and low-and-behold there it was. I wasn't sure at first, but the drivers door gives it away, as the red leather is peeling just above the speaker and the fit isn't right on the return to the foot of the window switches! This panel was to be replaced had I kept her.
  17. Because I know where the mistakes are :punk:
  18. Here.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300zx-N-A-Project-car-/261190473418?_trksid=p5197.m1997&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D16%26meid%3D6564328585240696034%26pid%3D100016%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D3%26sd%3D121086166921%26 Well the door cards and dash panels anyway
  19. Nice to see you're keeping in the spirit of the thread gary.... :thumbup1:
  20. 100% agree with you there Gary. The correct action under the circumstances, I'd of done the same in my day as a MOD. It's often a difficult choice to make as to quite how far you can let someone go before making the ban, no matter how long the ban is, but at the end of the day the rules are the rules. I've seen it many a time in the past where a sale has gone 'pete-tongue' for whatever reason and the agreaved isn't happy, whether it be the buyer or the seller, and normally it would be best sorted out with the assistance of the clubs traders liasion, but in this case it's a sale completely outside of the club so any potential problems should be dealt with by both parties only. Obviously advice can be obtained from other members, after all that's what we're here for, and I indeed tried to offer some advice myself. Either way I hope the new owner manages to have it all sorted out and enjoys his new purchase and the club for many years to come.
  21. Man up, it's only a bit of snow!!!
  22. Well I've just come back to it in it's new form, and it's taken me a little bit to get used to but I'm finding my way around. Since leaving though I've come across this format on other sites so it's not entierly new to me, but I do still remember the old layout because it's also still used on some other forums. I like the new one, I can't find certain things, like the Edit button or how to search for an individuals Garage page but then I'm sure that's because I'm not subscribed anymore! Top marks anyway :thumbup1:
  23. I'm sure I've still got a photo of mine when I took them apart... the problem is that I'm at work till 6:30 and they are on my PC at home. If no one has been able to help you by the time I'm home I'll post it up for you. HTH Dave
  24. Sorry.... one new crank seal required.... not crank gasket!!
