Theres a mechanic, who i know who used to be a ex-car thief in the 1990's. Iv talked to him about the ways a thief would try and nick your car!!! On steering wheels locks, he said that most thieves know how to get them off - meaning it will just slow them down but they will take it off!!! On the gear stick lock, the handbrake is yanked off and presto its off!!! He goes one way is, to have a custom fitted immobiliser which is connected directly to the ECU or fuel line!!! But then again your car can be towed. Tracker iv heard is useless now, as small signal blockers can be easily bought!!! If you've got a car that stands out, people are gonna notice it and if its taken, it will be mostly likely be on order for specific parts!!! He recommended just fitting a Cat 1 alarm with anti code grabbing, and atleast 2 seperate immobilisers. That will deter the would-be thieves. The big boys as MAC says will take it no matter what!!! Cheers Guys Im defianetly beefing up the security on my car, im going to go get a disk lock like the 1 srrae has mentioned and possibly de-lock it and fit reinforced window tints to the zed!!! Im gonna try and persuade my mate to buy another Zed but i think he may not want to get 1 as he may get scared it will get pinched again!!! I say bring back corporal punishment!!! How else can we keep our belongings safe!!! Fas

Thanks guys, i just cant believe it!!! Geoff, thats the 1 mate!!! I just cant understand why this stuff happens!!! Im just shocked, in reality iv been told that if a person wants to steal your car he will and theres not much you can do!!! Not even tracker can help as theres technology which can block the signal from the tracker unit on the car which is done by a small black box that is placed on the vehicle!!! Im thinking of getting a CCTV unit outside my home to monitor the car and get one of those big steering wheel locks that covers the whole steering wheel!!! Im starting to think whats the point!!! My mates yellow 300ZX has been stolen this morning at about 5am from the neasden area of north west London!!! We've just come back from the police station after reporting it!!! I just want every1 to keep a look out for suspicious looking zeds or parts that are quite rare from this ZX!!! Iv attached some pictures. It had Tein suspension (coloured green) from the pictures you can make out the alloys and the Stillen type 3 bodykit. Its in yellow, which is quite a rare colour!!! Full black and yellow leather interior, tv screen. This car does stand out!!! If any1 can help in anyway it will be appreciated!!! If any1 starts selling parts that are from this car or something!!! Me and my mate are devastated!!! It had a Cat1 Meta alarm and immobilisor and we cant understand how it got stolen!!! They broke the front windows to get into the car!! Thanks guys Fas!!!

Hiya guys Need some help as im going to pick up some parts for my mate on sunday Will a TT zeds steering rack and the high pressure hose that leads to the steering rack fit a NA zed I dont wanna have to go pick it up and it flops when i try to get it fitted to my mates car!!! Any1 Cheers Fas

Ok here goes the following list Its got a aftermarket clutch but we dont know which 1!!! Apexi Filter (but im not sure) Full exhaust system (decatted) Iridium Plugs Full Tein Suspension (donated by me from my old car) Quickshift (thats what he says but im not sure as its been ages since iv driven my zed and cant tell) The car was previously tuned for track use, and may i say iv neva seen a car launch of so well!!! Especially a Zed TT It is a totally different drive compared to the Zed TT It may have more mods but we will neva know as we bought the vehicle like that!!! Hes looking maybe getting new pulleys or a manifold but hes not sure yet!!! Fas

Yeh sure ill pop down but im not sure when though as iv got so much work to do right now!!! Iv been at home most of the day doing a presentation which needs to be handed in tomorow!!! Ill let you know in advance when im gonna be able to!!! If not ill be dropping the car off at Predator in a few weeks time to get the Exhaust done, if your free try and pop down as its near you anyway!!! Yeh in the flesh the car looks the biz, by the way Stu i might need a favour from you, i might need you to pop down and take a look at the zed as i think there may be a problem with it and possibly give me a opinion on wat it might be if you can!!! Hi Geoff I finally got to see your car, gotta admit its bloody quick even from where i was sitting in my Green/Gold Honda Accord that was behind the yellow Zed. I pulled over and let you pass whilst at the same time flashing my mate to say theres a Zed behind me. I think he mistook it for "Put your Foot Down" as he shot off. Dont think you'll remember the Accord i was also putting (sorry trying to) put my foot down and catch up. How come you pulled into the shell petrol station? Short on petrol, i would have liked to have seen how quick you would have been against his SWB NA. Its a tuned NA though and is damn quick. You can see your interior for miles, but i couldint really hear your exhaust, is that how you asked Predator to do it. Gotta ask you a question, you where pushing it werent you, i could tell!!! I had a feeling it was you when i sow the interior it looked red to me though!!! Fas

Hello is any1 out there Can some1 please tell me what technical faults they have and why they are so easy to get into!!! Fas

Iv got 19" wheels and my car is lowered. When i had the car first it had 18" and was also lowered, it experienced uneven tyre wear, the inside edges wore out quicker. 19" will fit ok just make sure you have the correct offset as stated before!!! Fas
