Cos not trying to act stupid but whats a rear skin. Is that to protect the rear bumper from scraping. If so then the car is gonne be alot higher than shown. Once the work is done. Physically its been dropped to the ground. Itll be highered about a inch after the work is all done.:D Fas

Mac the scoops are custom jobbies. Ill ask K next time im there. The big 1 in the middle is also a custom jobbie. Im gonna ask K. The rear bumper is from a Wings West Kit made for another make of car, he has customised it to fit the Zed (im not really sure, but i think it is) The little spikes at the bottom are gonna be in carbon fibre. So is my rear spoiler which is costing me a fortune. Its gonna be resprayed in yellow. The front bonnet vent is gonna also have carbon hopefully running through the middle of the scoop to give it the colour scheme of the late model Honda NSX's. Everything is wait till it happens and if it works we will keep it. Lambo doors might not happen as the hinges on order are having problems supporting the Zeds heavy doors. But the way the car is going its not gonna upset me to much if i dont get them done. Fas

Hi Guys Just thought id give a update on my car. I finally drove it to the bodyshop today for it to be prep'd. OMG the attention it was getting as i was driving. People where just gazing and trying to figure out what it was. I didnt really push it as the car is really low so that the bodyshop can cut the inner arches as much as possible. After this, time to sort out the engine and make it work like new and give it a clean bill of health. Then back to be sprayed and that should be it. Where looking at Mid Feb it seems to get longer and longer. There are a few bits that need some attention but will be sorted in the bodyshop. Fas

I gotta say that london police arent that bad and are pretty good compared to some other cities. Iv pulled some rather foolish stunts in my time in various cars and iv usually been able to squirm myself out of it. The worse i seem to find are Thames Valley they just wont take any excuse they'll just penalise you there and then and lecture you. The Metropolitan Police are a little easier i seem to find. I was at work when i sow it. There where about 10 of us and we all seem to be cheering for the zed. Well funny as they all know i got 1. At first i thought shit the zed not had a good start and thought damn its gonna lose but boy when it got going we where all cheering. It was bloody good victory for us Z32 owners. In welwyn gardens in hertfordshire. Not that far. Tanzx got his exhaust done from them and hes always going on about how good they are. Hes the 1 to ask as hes actually been dealt by them, whereas im still waiting to get it sorted out. Fas

Hiya Paul Might have the solution to all your problems here This is the european HKS website and they have installation information for most of their turbo timers. Have a look if that fails then they have contact details on the site, why dont u email them and ask them to get you a wiring diagram 4 u. That should get u going http://www.hkseurope.com Fas

Ryan how many miles has ur car done. As my zed has 60,000 miles and im getting a full straight through system starting from the turbos. Im starting to wonder if im gonna need 2 budget for new turbos 2 just in case it starts to smoke. Its a 1990 zed so its fairly old but has been maintained quite well. What do u reckon. Fas

Same thing happened to me Chris first it was End of April then Mid May and then i finally picked it up at the end of May. Trust me though mate when u go to pick it up your gonna be amazed and itll feel like the best thing uv bought. Just try and contain urself and go easy with it at first when u do go pick it up. I remember when i went to go pick my car up, i nearly cried with joy. I waited since november to get myself 1. The problem was sourcing a good 1 from japan and then the wait to ship it over. But ull be smiling all the way home. Fas

Im not saying theyre bad just that round my local area powerflow seem to be a bit expensive and try to get as much money out of you as they can. Also iv actually seen some their work and on bends they tend to weld. Where predator mandrel bend the pipework to give a smooth flow without the use of welding. But hey your guys might have been different. ;) Fas

Basically Jaz the main guy in the st albans branch has done alot of cars for my bodyshop guy K. I was told he would look after me. But his price seemed steep. I wanted a 3" bored exhaust but they could only do 2.5" so i said ok to that in the end. Then i said i want a straight through pipe from the turbos all the way through to the tips. He said that for me to get 6" tips he would have to charge me extra. His price was hitting over £800 and i realised no point. Also they weld alot of their pipes and iv heard there welding sometimes aint up to scratch and iv heard this from previous customers of theirs. Predator said they could do 3" bore for me but when we stuck the car on the ramp the pipework stuck out of the underneath of the car due to the size of the pipes and my car is low 2 so in the end i had no choice but to go for 2.5" theyre giving me exactly what i want as i had previously mentioned. Also they bend all there pipework which helps as there is less welding involved meaning less to go wrong on ur car. He charged me £700 all in starting from the turbos. Hes got a nismo zx 2 which is even better coz he knows them well. Let me know ill try and pop down with you and maybe if we get it done 2gether he'll give us a better price. Who knows. But from what iv seen i think predator are better. Fas

Didint we talk about this in the garage. So if i get K to remove them all i have to do is drive it down to barking leave it there for about 3 weeks and then drive it to manchester leave it there for a week. Then drive back down and get the exhausts fitted. Will i cause any damage to anything else or will i be fine. I dont really care about the original cats as im gonna throw them away but iv got a Trust exhaust fitted on, will i damage it, its pretty new and i wanna sell it afterwards so i dont really want that getting damaged Cheers Stu.

Basically im having a vent put in the front wing and it sits in where that AIV or whatever its called is sitting. So i need to remove it. Im not sure but i swear iv read threads previously about others removing them. Anyway im not sure about going to TT.net never been there b4 so ill wait and c for any more answers from others just to get a general idea that im not gonna destroy my engine by doing it Cheers Fas
