  1. full Xpac kit on it. My old mad had one just like it but he had 6 rally fogs on the front. £ on each side in a triangle, looked mint :cool3:
  2. His wheels stick out more than mine, i had to adjust the camber so the face of the rim was flush with the arch then a mega stretched tyre so it clears the arch. My tyre dosnt even touch the rim :wack: it hard to tell on the pics. thats why if i can i will go a size up but it will be close :( He has less stretch than me but has gone for a crazy camber. The skirts are that US one kaminari or something like that lol!!
  3. Here is my 265 on a 10" rim In the 1st pic he a loads of camber as well
  4. if your tyre size is 265 and your wall is flat you will be 8.5" or nine, a 9.5 inch with a 265 will still have a little stretch.
  5. It will never look like that without spacers. Mine are 10" wide on 265 and there stretched, so yours will be 8.5" or 9" But im goint to try and fit 275's on but they may rub. Im not keen on streched tbh
  6. Looks the same as mine. Its the off set or the width of the wheel. Basically the wheel stick out to far and the tyre has to be stretched to get it to fit.
  7. So do you really need to spend all that money on modding the engine. Im more than happy with mine now i have a normal everyday car. you just get use to the power and wanting more. I drove mine without any dash or carpet in it and it was epic. just like a race car and everything rattled about
  8. good things come to those who wait
  9. Always a good day out with the classic car section. proper full day and well worth the ££ That F355 hasnt dated very well.
  10. cu*t most of the time but now its my Zed
  11. :hurl: has to be one of the worst looking toyotas ever made. would rather drive a mk3 mr2 than that :lol:
  12. Welcome back matey. Fancy taxing it in winter :)
  13. AdrianFlux were the only ones that would insure me when i was 22 with all the mods i have. But there prices have gone really high recently. I was paying about £800ish but that was tpff and thats kept on a drive and a seriously safe area. possibly the lowest. full no claims and no points etc. I have no idea how some on here can get quotes at such cheap rates it makes no sence. When i ring up most of them mentioned above said no because of my age and i had to be 26?? Insurance is just made up imo. I did a go compaire on my new car it was like £480 so i adjusted the date i wanted it to start for a week later and it came down to £395. stupid
  14. Nice one mate well done. The tapping will be a sticky lifter. and is really annoying. mine has it everytime from a cold start but thats because i dont drive it lol!!
  15. Seems like we might be onto a winner. while the fuse box is off etc. you can fix the pipe. its a bit of a pita to do but worth it. Jeff has done a write up for this.
  16. Best having a look at all the connetors, relays and fuse box as water gets in anywhere. On the Bmw when i was working on it in the rain like i do the switch to turn the light on got damp. then the side indicators stayed on constantly so i had to dry the unit out with a hair dryer. Water can play proper funny buggers with eletrics.
  17. wondering if you are getting water on the fuse box in the drivers foot well.
  18. are your targa drains working??
  19. I put clips on all of mine to stop it from doing it again. it seems as if the rubber pipe shrinks with age so it may be tight to get it back in. thats why i used clips to secure it
  20. Im over the moon mate!!! there really easy to do. just the back ones are a pita because of the dam balance bar. easy just a pita
  21. yeah same here with the fuel but we only have BP Ultimate bown here. I had the NGK Iridium ones in but it was the stock gap of 1.1 and heat rated 6 so it is obviously asking to much from them, Also what i noticed when i got home that my exhaust tips were really cool where as before i could hardly touch them they were so hot!!!! Had mine comming upto 5 years now so still got a long way to go, but its the longest i have ever had a car.
  22. Yeah im affaid so, for a good few years i should imagen :pint:
  23. Yeah its my baby again lol!!!! I actully bought a new car 3 weeks back so i didnt have to drive the zed lol!!! I can turn the boost back up now and have some real fun:devil2: Might even splash out and buy some really expensive tyres now. The main thing is 9mpg to 21/24mpg is just amazing from a spark plug. I would never of thought that in a million years. Cool im glad you like the thread, i think its the longest one i have ever done lol!! With the heatrange it depends on what mods you have because you can run to cold, If your running over 100bhp more than stock you should be ok :)
