could be a major boost leak. Check you have tightend up all your fmic pipes. I forgot to tighten up one clip on my hard pipes and i had to crawl home. when i hit a little bit of a hill i could onlt do 10mph lol!

Sounds maf related. All the det sensor will do is trip it into safey boost but it will still rev as it should just limits the boost.
