supercharging an NA
Ok i know it would be far easier to buy a TT but its more fun to experiment and do something different! plus the condition of my NA is to good to let go. So does anyone know much about supercharging a ZX or if its been done before? I have seen those electric superchargers on ebay before but am not sure how good they would be. I would be gratefull for any info Cheers

A strange water leak
After a drive and when the engine is off i can hear the sound of water dripping. Its sounds as if its dripping onto the exhaust/AIV pipes and evaporates. I have had a quick look under the car and can see that it is coming from a plastic tube coming out of the bulk head. It tends to drip slowly for a about 5 minutes and then stop. I originally thought it was some sort of drainage pipe but after a quick look through the forum it looks as if a heater matrix pipe should be attached to it. The weird thing is the water level does not seem to have dropped, the heater works fine and no wet carpet. It has been like this a few months now, could it have causes any engine damage? I will investigate it further tonight and see if i have any unattached/missing pipes but just thought i would run it you guys and see what you thought. Cheers westy

Body shop in the Bristol area
Does anyone know a good/cheap body shop in the Bristol area? Someone decided to rub down the side of my car leaving a long light dent on the back quarter panel and a nice dent on the arch. The best bit was they just drove off and i have no details! So i am left with the bill....B@stards! B@stards..... B@stards!!!!!!!

gluggy sounds
I don't think it can be the shocks, it occurs when the car is stationary and definately sounds as if its engine related. I can roughly trace it to the sump area.

gluggy sounds
Hi All, I seem to be getting strange glug glug sounds coming from the wheels arch areas, I removed the AIV's a few months ago hoping to solve the problem but have had no luck. I can only assume that it must be oil related. Would a shot oil pump create these glugging sounds? cheers Jim

Stalling
As far as i know the filters are stock, but i will try cleaning the AFM and see what happens Cheers!
-
Stalling
I marked the TPS position before removing it for cleaning and put it back in the same position after. I guess it could have been in the wrong position to start with, i will have a go at ajusting it and see what happens, if this doesn't work i guess i will have to consider replacing the PTU

Stalling
My Auto NA keeps stalling every, it seems to occur when the engine is warm and i am going down a hill or slope with my foot off the gas. Once i restart it seems fine until the next time i take the car out. I have clean the carb an the tps and most of the usual things but it still seems to occur. Any ideas??

cheap car trackday
Back to the subject of BHP per pound how about a Maestro or Montego turbo?? ok, i know they look like s@it and are s@it but they can really shift and are easy to tune and you can pick them up for nothing. Anyway if you are wearing a crash helmet it will hide the embaressment!
