  1. Cheers, If Stevepud does no longer wants it then definately let me know as mines practically falling off the car! Cheers, Westy
  2. How much prep work is involved in fitting the standard replacement boot spoiler from the Zcentre? Is it just a case of spraying it and sticking it on or is there more to it? I can't be arsed at the moment with too much filling and messing around trying to get it on.
  3. Friday, will you be selling your spoiler if you are taking it off? I'm after one in good nic.
  4. Recently changed the pads due to 'caliper creak' so it can't be. These early dark evenings don't make investigation easy!
  5. I'm confused! It does not do it all the time, i can only hear it at slow speeds when wobble the steering wheel. I can't see anything making contact with the wheel, could it be the Wheel bearing even though it is not always there?
  6. No they stick out at the more at the top if look closely. If they were behind a tinted persexto to have the flush look of the OEM lights then i would be buying a set.
  7. Like i said its only my opinion. Maybe Cheap is a bit harsh the quality is probably fine if you are comparing them to some other after market lights you see around. But for me they just don't have the real quality look i would want. Having said that they were on a dodgy looking Z so that didn't help.
  8. I liked these until i saw them on a Z recently, they do protude quite a bit and don't suit the smooth back of the car and looked a bit cheap, but then again its just my opinion :)
  9. I have just mahange to find that BRT Bearings do a set of three Cambelt idlers for the Z. The set cost £110 inc VAT which seems quite good to me. If anyone is interested then the part code is: PTK160
  10. Goit, it looks good, were did you get the Alcantera from?
  11. Cheers steve! that sounds good I will look him up and see what he has got. Did you see any Z over when you were here, i have not seen yet, they just seem to all drive scoobys.
  12. I can't believe it i'm on holiday in Singapore and thought i may aswell check out the prices for parts for the Z, it is so cheap compared to the UK, i have just managed to buy a Cambelt, all auxilary belts, waterpump, tensioner and idlers for less than a hundred quid!(all OEM parts!) I think the water pump was only about 17 quid! I'm in shock, but at least my 60k service is going to be bloody cheap. Well its a damb good start to the year for the Z, if only i had come sooner i would be a rich man!
  13. I will take it and don't mind paying the postage if you are ok with wrapping it up etc. Cheers Westy
  14. I am in need of a photo of the wire and plug on the back of the right hand console pod for the dimmer switch/cruise control. The lights work but all the other wires have been ripped out when someone tried to disconnect the the cruise control. I want to try and get the dimmer switch etc working, so if anone has a camera and 5 minutes that it would really handy. Cheers Westy :)
  15. That would be great but i maybe a bit out of your way as i'm just outside of Bristol.
  16. looking through my recipts Its had a 6ok service about a year ago with the exception of the tensioner, all the seals/waterpump etc have been done. So as cash is tight and most parts have been replace fairly recently i'm not keen to do a complete 60k service. I think i will give it ago myself, i was just wondereing if someone locally would be able give me some on site advice. Hey is it doesn't work then i'm getting the bus to work!
  17. that is good experience with Z's that can give me a hand fitting a new cambelt and tensioner? I have never done it before but would keen to learn and save a bit of cash. I would have a go myself but i'm using the car daily at the moment and can afford to get it wrong! Obviously i will pay petrol and beer money! :)
  18. Pete, i'm after a clear spoiler breaklight, I have the standard one but like the look of the clear ones. Andy, yeh thats a good idea. Maybe i will give it a go and see what the results are like, i have my doughts that i will get a good finish.
  19. Does anyone know where you can get these cheaper? http://www.clearcorners.com/products/nissan/300zx2/R_3br2/ They look great but at $300 + shipping its a bit steep. What about making them!? Any ideas on how to make the led panels and wire them up? All need then is to somehow make a clear diffuser!
  20. Forgot to say that i would take the wheels too. Good luck with your decission
  21. If you do end up breaking it then let me know I would be very interested in taking the Rear spoiler and sideskirts off you. It would be nice to see it kept on the road though!
  22. get hold of a fairladyz badge as on the 350z, I thought one of the readers on here was selling them but i can't seem to find it now  I'm also after some DTM style mirrors similar to the Veilside c1's but with out the holes. Cheers!

Tried to take my Z though once but the thing kept telling me the car was in the wrong position and stopped half way up the bonnet because the front was to low for sensors to pick it up. I have never bothered since and never will.
  24. The lights are still the best bit though!
  25. I Have written to Mike at MJP and am awaiting a reply. I have also had a search on the www and found a company called 'whslparts' they do a timing belt kit for about $191 and i'm waiting on the shipping cost. I will try a local bearing shop and see is they can do anything.
