Hi Mine runs 2 extra injectors, its only really done by SE or it used to be done by them i dont think they do the upgrade anymore. It runs very well (well if i hadnt broken it) but it is very thirsty so i'm taking it off and putting larger injectors and a new ecu on it. Speak to peter at SE he will tell you more about it Cheers kirbz

Well just spoken to SE and they say that with the turbo's i am running with the PSI going through them it deffo wont be the tubs?? They say it will be the pistons, probably cracked due to the BHP i'm running so its going to have a compression and cylinder leakage test on wednesday to see just how f**ked it is. Looks like its forged pistons time :slap: Kirbz

I have spoken to a few people this morning and it sounds like its the tubs, the oil seals apparently have gone, so the turbo's either need refurbing or replacing :cry: *****x *****x *****x Kirbz

It is an interesting poll as i think all of them are garrett turbo's just re-badged, i may be wrong but i know that the greddy and the hks are deffo garretts!!

Going for a nice trip out to the lakes when a couple of bikers wanted some which i did but... Big plumes of blue smoke when accelerating hard...the only good thing is that the other biker nearly fell off his bike cos he couldnt see :confused: Pulled over had a look and nothing, no smoke on idleing. Went out again and same again the harder i accelerate the more blue smoke. It still accelerated OK but the smoke screen it leaves behind cant be good. So come on experts how much is this one gonna cost me :confused: :eek: :cry: Kirbz

Ive already got a stillen twin plate kevlar clutch on it, i dont know how much BHP it will handle but i always thought if it was slipping, it was slipping and nothing else, mine is fine only does it now and again when i rev her very high and release the clutch :rolleyes: Anyway i have bigger problems at the moment!! I too have clutch problems :rolleyes: The clutch only slips when accelerating very hard off the line with high revs, you can put into gear but it just revs..back off the power and change gear and its fine!!?? it seems to be when i release the clutch with high revs on because any other time its fine and doesnt slip at all :rolleyes: Any ideas?? I have spoken to several people to ask if the clutch is toast but everyone seems to think it wont be the clutch, might be some oil getting onto the plate?? Any ideas would be helpful as i cant get my 0-60 time below 5.5 secs ;) Kirbz

I Think the jap version uses the same switch as the UK version for the fogs, mine is a UK version and has had the US front fogs fitted and the switch mounted below the dash at the side of the steering wheel on the tweedy..bit looks good. Kirbz

Well the thing is ive got plenty of bhp as it is but...and here's the but if i did go down the route of massive bhp..which i will what tubs would you have? If i'm going to get the turbos very very cheap i might as well get the best ones i can. To garretts its just another turbo to us its the difference of being able to run 450 bhp and 650 bhp!! I can do all the internals on the engine and run my hybrids upto 25 psi but after the forged pistons etc have gone on what tubs would you then bolt on. Got to keep up with macca some way :D Kirbz

Hi Matt You only need standard size for the rears as i think only 20% of the braking is done from the rear anyway. Now all you need is some nice 330mm discs up front for some serious braking :D :dance: Kirbz
