  1. surly it wouldnt matter?? cooling the air temp is cooling the air temp no matter where it is?? but i agree waste of nitrous LOL
  2. it will be plumbed in just before the throttle and cools the intake temp down hence more power ;)

As legrath says from the sunday to the friday Cost wise ive paid for it which is £250 for the ferry etc and i think it was £65 for the hotel but thats half i think so there is slightly more to pay but your looking at around the £150 ish mark plus beer and part fuel costs ;) If you are interested let me know ASAP as i need to change the names etc on the booking Mike

  12. it maybe but i would still take it to a garage to get them to check the timing, prob cost a tenner for them to stick the gun on it and if its out get them to undu the CAS and knock it round a bit till its reading 15 tdc Mike
  13. according to the data the temp was 80 degrees so if thats the case then the timing is very very high!! and poss the reason why its detting Mike

  15. hmm not really, your only looking at 350 bhp from a pretty well tuned one or if you want to go down major tuning then your talking big money from the spec of that it looks like 300+ bhp so should be interesting ;) Mike
  16. you need someone to have a good look at it mate with a timing gun etc to set it up right and it will hopefully sort a few issues out :)

  18. well if the datascan is reading correct then the timing is very advanced so i'm not suprised its detting!! its reading around and on idle should be 15 tdc so you need to get a timing gun on there asap mate Mike
  19. you would be better going to a rolling road and get them to check your afr and they will listen for det with an aftermarket det sensor worth spending 40 odd quid to find out for definate Mike
