Hi Leonard, the terms T25 and T28 are quite generic you can get different flavors of both and all colours of hybrids in between. I think the stock turbo is a TB22 which is a T25 which is probably rated at aprox 200 ps. The TB28028 which is the big turbo that SE use is probably rated at approx 340 ps the stock T28 listing for the S14 is at 300 ps. The easiest way to rate the power a turbo can deliver is to get the cfm rating which will tell you how much air the turbo can flow. However this does not anwer questions such as lag and response. does this help? Regards, alex

Yes mate SE are doing all of my work - yes i think they are a bit expensive - I wouldnt want anyone else to build me an engine and because the car is there i thought they might as well do everything for me - there is a lot to be said for a 'one-stop-shop' - I've had loads of visits where me and PeterR have sat down and worked out exactly what i want the car to do and to look like and i dont think there is another garage in the country that would be able to do that. I could get one garage to build me a forged engine, one garage to set up the engine, one garage to fit the bodywork and prep, one garage to spary paint and maybe i could do it a bit cheaper but i'm not sure if it would be done as well and even if it were it just isnt worth my time running around trying to get everything sorted. I also get the benefit that if there is a problem with anything in the future its under one warranty. Regards, alex
