Posted a while ago and the problem is still not sorted. Here are the basics. First start of the day the car struggles to start. It cranks and will start but really rough and then stall after a couple of secs if not immediately. After a couple more attempts it is absolutely fine and remains fine for the rest of the day. It appears that this only happens when the car is stood for 12 hours plus. When I try and crank it first thing in the morning, the Speedo needle spikes and jumps around. Anyone any ideas??

How would I fix inlet valves? Expensive??

OK guys, having a weird problem. For some reason the car struggles to start first thing in the morning. It turns over but wont fire unless I depress the accelerator and pump it. After that, I can turn the engine off and it will start straight away, this happens for the rest of the day. Only seems to happen when the car is left overnight. Any thoughts as it is annoying me now!

OK, I wont go into why, but basically my car has been driven without my knowledge on various occasion and the brake pads are DEAD! Because it was driven, all of the metal shards and crap that has come off the brake disc from the "metal to metal" has now stuck all over the drivers side of the car. How can i get this off? It is very rough to the touch and no matter how much cleaning it has it wont come off. Is someone going to be a dead man for using my car and me needing a full respray???? :mad:

I am having the mesh professionally fitted, so they will sort it out. jsut wanted to know how much lol!

I have the wings west front bumper on my Zed, and am having some racing mesh fitted in the large gap at the front and the smaller side ones. My Zed is gunmetal gray but I am unsure whether to go for black or silver mesh? Any advice? Also, if anyone has done this on the same bumper, how much will i need?

Is there anyone in Nottingham that can help me fit some mesh to my Wings West front bumper? I'm useless at it! Thanks

...remove my fooked auto box and put a new one in? Got a box sorted, just need some "hands" to put it in! Obviously I'll pay!

Posted on here over a week ago with info about my Auto Box potential failure. Now I have more time, I will post more specifics. OK. Forgetting how the car was this is what happens now. In Position 1, the car will not creep forward, and pressing the accelerator also has no effect, the revs just continue to go up, no movement. In Position 2, the car creeps forward as it should, but I suspect it pulls off in 2nd Gear as the speed pickup isnt great. In Position D, the car creeps forward as in Position 2. I suspect (but am not sure) that it changes into 3rd but basically when travelling at 40MPH the revs are roughly at 2700RPM (an experts tell me what gear this is?). In Position R, everything is perfect, reverse has no problems. Pushing overdrive off at any point doesnt have an effect, and neither does turning it back on. Hold mode starts the car just as it does in Position 2, and "Power" hasnt been tested yet. Any advice? There is no slipping at all (think there was to start but not quite sure now) and the fluid is ok, there is also no mechanical noise that sounds like it shouldnt be there. I have no choice but to drive the car at the moment, but dont know what to do from this point onwards. Any help appreciated.

Well the oil in there looks like tar and it smells like someones head after it's been on fire LOL. Think it's dead.

I have non TT Jap import and the auto box for want of a better word is DEAD!! Everything was fine until this morning when I put it into gear and the revs go up but the car doesnt get any faster (well it does very slowly). Check the ATF fluid, was low but topped it up and same thing, so I think she is dead. I am looking for anyone in or close to Notts that has an autobox they can sell me that is known to be good and also fit it for me. Just tell me how much for the whole job! Am really desperate as I have no transport and my ex wife gave birth to our son today! HELP! Jon

Anyone seen the trailer for this Big Brother/Zombie series? Looks really good, and as a big fan of the zombie genre, looking forward to seeing it. May get company round to watch it tho, as I now have a 4 bed house all to myself and may get spooked! LOL! Anyone else seen it or know when it starts?

yes mate there is none of that. Just needs a good clean now as with the rain has washes all the wax in the recesses all over the body! Is it easier to get a shine on a reaprayes car as oppsed to one that has old paint.

hi Isaac What is orange peel? The paint is flawless so no, there isn't any anyway. The masking was spot on too.

A place called PRG Body Repairs in Nottingham, all for £800! He repaired every single dent on the car filled the spoiler holes and sprayed it all in a week. Looks great, no overspray, no runs and even paint across the whole car.

Anyone else got any thoughts?

Hi All! Well finally got the car back after is repray and it looks the nuts! Problem now is it takes ages to heat up properly, even longer with the heater on, and lets face it, heater is a must cos of winter coming. Basically it was diagnosed as the thermostat last year and I have a new one ready to fit, only problem is, I dont know who as I am crap mechanically and I cant afford to pay a garage as my divorce has and is costing me an absolute fortune. Is there anyone in Nottingham or close by that can help me do it one Saturday? Thanks guys.
