pc building any advice welcome
err dunno exactly but back in the olden days some brands were unstable or ran extremly slow, had issues with hardware types, driver issues etc, . intel ones are about the best nowadays for overclocking etc problems with any chipset in these times would be unlikley. I've only ever had one msi board it was freekin great and real fast for it's time. Think it was one of the neo platinum ones an old amd 64bit socket 754 it was red firetruck too like your's is. As for the Asus board you can't really go wrong with them. They are usually reasonably priced very reliable and if anything does go wrong their 2 years warranty plan is great(can take about 6 weeks to come back) I had an AN8 32sli board which decided to die about 2 years . I sent it back and had a brand new one(not always the case but mine was propper ****ed:D ) which in turn sold on ebay for a princley sum:D as I had my current board fitted as I cannot live without a games machine and was quids in with a newer board and my second quad

don't know what the amd chipsets are like but the nvidia ones are usually good which the cheaper one has..... noticed they take phenoms and are marked socket AM2+ so that's a bonus I though phenoms had a completely different pin array I've learned summit today

It looks like an ok board but upgradability will be limited(AM2) as new amd cpu's(phenoms etc) are a different socket type but saying that ,this will always be the situation :D Does it have to be MSI? They are usually a bit more expensive. Abit are pretty good for the money as are asus boards. I have a Q9550 intel quad in my rig on an Asus p5QC(LGA 775 Will take cheaper older p4's core duo or quads, also the board does ddr2 or ddr3 ram) and the board was about £100 6 months ago. Personnaly if i were on a budget I would go... Asus socket775..... intel core 2 duo(they can be got at a reasonable price) 3gb xms ddr2 and a nvidia 7600gt or with slightly bigger budget 8800gt(might need a bigger power supply for 8800gt) it will be pretty freekin fast for little wonga and with the right cpu and 8800gt will put a ps3 on it's arse

most of that stuff is getting to be quite old now but still will perform well for what you want and seems to be well priced. The intel duo's are a good bit quicker at the same clock speed but the are a good bit dearer. I've seen DDR 2 ram for £8 a gig somwhere. No real need for 4gb if you're running 32 bit vista or xp as it will usually only recognise about 3gb anyway. 800mhz ddr2 would be quicker as would lower latency ram like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Corsair-4GB-2x2GB-DDR2-800MHz-PC2-6400-XMS2-Memory_W0QQitemZ140320949985QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Computing_ComputerComponents_MemoryRAM_JN?hash=item140320949985&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1690%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50 corsair ram is usually the dogs *****x and compatible with most boards. Check the form factor of the the mobo will fit the case ie Micro atx / atx etc. Power supply should be fine for what you have there. Unless your playing games a lot at high detail and resolution with over 30" display for games or other video/music stuff you ain't going to want a monster machine sli/xfire etc. Then again they are nice to have

Jbl cs-10 subwoofer
Figured JBL have always been pretty good not really looking for tonnes of power just something to liven things up a little. Just need to source a reasonably priced amp now. Cabling is all in as it had a sub beofore I bought the car. Now got to get my arse into gear to make these

Jbl cs-10 subwoofer
Ordered these no look a little more appropriate than the tube I was gonna get. anyone used these ? figured i couldn't go wrong for that price http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=350103893874

sub tube
was informed the speaker is dead so didn't get it after. ah well looked too big anyway

sub tube
Just bought a JBL BTX250 sub as the stereo in my car desperately needs something more and I can't be arsed at the moment buiding an enclosure as too many other things to do. It had one fitted before I bought it as all the cabling is fitted but wasn't included in the sale. JBL are pretty good I know and there's a passive driver as well as an active one so should be pretty good quality sealed subs are usually tighter and less boomy. Just didn't realise the size of the thing looking at nickbanannas car below it's massive :( Anyone had one of these? http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=116949&highlight=JBL+BTX250

carpet wood floor
my old man used to fit amtico floor for commercial properties. Used to be very expensive. We've had it in our main entrance foyer at work for 20 years now and it still looks good. What's the fitted price per sq metre of amtico now out of interest kirbz?

shamelsss is awsome

carpet wood floor
the veneered v jointed floors are fine they look pretty good. Plain sanded boards don't give you much choice.... softwood(usually badly fitted by shoddy 1st fix chippies on price work) that's about it unless you are gonna pay serious money.
