  1. RIP Pope JP. I must say I didn't agree with his policies though he did considerable harm in the third world. I imagine some people would disagree with me.

Probes are ridiculously cheap used and for that reason a good buy. But very different to a Z which is (arguably) a supercar.
  3. "The Cuckoo" is only a couple of hundred yards away and does much nicer food for similar money. But the car park's not as good! http://www.peterborough.net/lifestyle/food/cuckoo.asp
  4. The Harvester pub right next to the East of England Showground entrance could be good. Chain pub and all that entails. Food etc. Nice large car park - a couple of sped bumps but you don't have to go over them so not a problem. postcode (for multimap PE2 6HE)
  5. Yes - looks like I will be working (in France) on that day so there's no way I can make it. If I can cancell the trip I'll come along but it's pretty unlikly I'm afraid. Gutting.
  6. Well, that was the theory. My practical solution is Great White cider, bongs, Jerry Springer and getting a giro.
  7. This is what I think: Our bodies are simply survival machines for our genes - they seek to duplicate themselves as many times as possible to enure their continued existance. This goes for all living things. There is no God, no soul, no spirits, no ghosts, no Adam and Eve and no pixies (well not in physical terms - they all do exist as 'ideas' which can be good, bad or both). Nothing exists that isn't explainable by science and the universe runs from a fixed beginning on a completely predictable path to a determined end. (pulls head out of arse)
  8. "The boy has a rare ability "He seems to make the cards transparent "I'm not saying he's good ... He's a fvcking liability" :hyper:
  9. Good points - probably neither pub is a good one. I will think of some others. But I found out today I may have to work away over that weekend so might not make it. :headvswal Shame - was WELL up for leading a procession of Zs!
  10. Dave C Will your tunes do anything for the midrange power as well as top end?
  11. Streuth! It's ChrisP! I thought the tidal wave had got yer. Hope all's well.
  12. ;) Or suffer the lag which caused some people who've had NAs and TTs to prefer the NA. :D
  13. I use http://www.winmx.com too. Very easy and never had a problem. I know some folk think others are better though.
  14. I think Get Greddy can re-map your ECU.
  15. Ohhhhhh! That sucks.
  16. Mine hits a limiter at 130 but it's still accelerating well - I think it'd go to at least 150 with the limiter removed, judging by the way my 200SX got to 140. I think Scotty's had his NA to about 150 and Choppers makes 400bhp (or 300 w/o nitrous) I think.
  17. Surely that's why we employed folk pay tax so those who choose not to work (bless them all) don't have to. :headvswal Seriously though, I fookin hate these scroungers - they're a curse on the land. I also think Government insiders line their own pockets via the Export Credit Guarantee and selling arms to corrupt regiems in the third world.
  18. He's been taken up! No he's not - he's over there! :smash:
  19. If this is still going to be Peterborough I could suggest a couple of pubs. 'The Hampton' is a modern chain-type pub with a decent car park and it's on the edge of the city near the A1 for easy access. The local cruisers have meets there occasionally so they're used to lots of people in cars turning up and there's a McDonalds there too. There is a speed bump that's quite big but my car gets over it no problems. 'The Admiral Wells' is in Holme, a few miles south east of Peterborough. It's a smaller, old pub but does very nice proper food for reasonable money. The car park is smaller and gravel but I think it'd be fine. It's "out on the fen" which is an experience in itself. If those are no good, and you do want to go to Peterborough, I can suggest some others. For these meets do we warn the pub or just turn up? If you need someone local to warn them, of course I'm happy to help.
  20. Sorry - I have to say 'no'. I hope I might be able to make it happen near the time but I can't commit now which is gutting.

I think fixed mortgages are like an insurance policy - and that means you pay extra for them. I don't rate all those unemployment / sickness cover they try and sell you too... bit too much like a lad in a shoe shop tring to sell you suede protector when you buy some shoes.

Goldie Lookin' Chain? You knows it! http://www.youknowsit.co.uk
  23. Was really looking forward to moving into my house with a GARAGE! Moved in, tried to put the Z in - it just fitted with about 10cm space all round! Gutting - I'd most likely hit a wall at some point so I don't keep it in the garage now. Sh1tty modern bandwaggon paper-mache houses! Sure as you're putting up your own one you'll have plenty of space! Hope the erection goes well (phnar, phnar etc)
  24. I'm Brian and so's my wife!
