What usually happens when it is unplugged?

I finished fitting some of my new suspension parts and Big Brakes today :D I got the K-Sport 330mm 8-Pot set-up, they look superb :D I am bedding them in at the mo' so can't really comment on the performance yet, but i'm sure they'll be great, everyone i have talked to have said they are beltin' :D What d'ya reckon :D

Yep just got it back after some work done my duffers, he had the plenum off and rocker covers. I'll try finding it and then try and give it a clean, thanks Dave :) Cheers Dan, i'll have a look for it bud :)

Thanks Brian, i'll have a gander at that in a bit :) Just seemed abit strange that on both occasions the revs stick at 2000 when i'm driving and then 2500 when i knock it into neutral! :(

Just fitted an S2 PTU. :) Where is the idle control valve? Can i adjust it myself?

I've had my car back for a couple of weeks now and TBH not driven it much as it has had a lot of work done recently. Today i have finished fitting my new suspension and brakes and i was driving it back from my friends and when i was nearly home the revs went upto 2000rpm and would'nt come back down, which was quite un-nerving! And then when i pulled over and put it in neutral it idled at 2500rpm! It did this the other day when i took it for a quick run round the block after its MOT. All of a sudden it was going along at 2000rpm and would'nt come back down! When i pull over and rev the accelerator hard it comes back down to just under 1000rpm. Also every now and again when i come to a stop at a junction etc.... it gets close to cutting out or actually does cut out :eek: What is causing these problems? In simple terms please :wack: Is there anything i can do or check???

Mine HAD one, does'nt anymore though! I'm pretty sure they all came with one, but as batteries are changed they don't get put back on.

Nice one Vini, looking good mate :D And nice one for getting stuck in, i have spent the last two days on my mates ramp doing my suspension and brakes myself (under his supervision of course :wack: )!!! Its hard work but it feels fantastic afterwards :D Bodywork is hard graft mate, so much respect to you :bow: :bow:

I most certainly am bud :D I have spent the last two days doing the work on my friends ramp under his supervision! I have now done the springs, shockers and whiteline ARBs and i am going to let the springs settle and then i will fit all my powertrix adjustable stuff and then get a four wheel laser alignment done :nana2: I am going back tomorrow to finish fitting my new k-sport front brakes and then i can drive it again :D So i'll let you know tomorrow hopefully! :nana2:

My dad took this option recently, you pay a bit more than the fine i think, but no points. My dad said it was quite usefull really, as what they taught him was stuff he did'nt really know! Also they showed him all the different type of speed cameras and locations etc.... Gotta be worth it for that alone!!! ;) :)

Just fitting whiteline ARBs and kyb agx shocks and eibach springs, when i drive it i'll let you know if you want :D
