I fitted a Strosek front and could'nt get over speedbumps - it was then i decided, 99-spec front and a minimal drop of 0.8". Can get everywhere in it now, speedbumps - HAH - i laugh at speedbumps :rofl: Seriously would'nt wanna drop it for the exact reason that is being pointed out. Isaac :cool:

Did the guy happen to have an r32 in stock with a higher profit margin lol :rolleyes: Can't say i've had any experience with r32's, however i can tell you that a zed does'nt handle crap. Most of the time they may not seems very good because most still have the original springs and shocks, and after 20 years on the car, they wont be that fresh. A set of aftermarket springs and shockers with a few other handling mods and they're a different car!!! HTH :)

All depends what kinda person the mech is really. The garage i take all my cars, the owner is very diligent and if a nut or bolt comes off - it goes back on, and properly i might add. Nothing is left off etc...... Whereas the guy that works on his forecourt could'nt give a fvck and will do anything for an easy life! Guess you just gotta make your own judgements lol. Isaac :cool:

I don't think i could of used them, as i have a stainless bezel aswell, and i don't think that is exactly the same as the normal clock holes. How much did they cost you landed and to your door?

PTU - Power Transistor Unit. Basically it is an ignition unit :) You can buy a series 2 version spanking new for about £130 - NEVER heard of one of those failing! I even changed mine just for the sake of ruling that out as a problem later on down the line if anything was wrong with my zed.
