  6. Lightened flywheel to much removed ?
  7. Check that the big piece of wire that the flap is hinged on is firmly in place at both top and bottom os the flap.... that happened to mine. It's easy enough to move it about with the end of a flat screwdriver and get it alighjned properly
  8. We used call the the Austin All Agro..... must have been a premonition of the cars we've got now !
  9. Thanks stu.... I got mine 18 months ago so I'm 57 now !..... and 58 in June but my driving won't change ! Getting a Leather interior new knock sensor, Speed sensor check and then digital traction control. Trouble with so many young un's writing off zeds is they don't realise that the throttle is progressive, not just off or on ! The worse the weather and/or conditions the gentler and progreesively is how you've got to drive the zed. - Unless of course you're after an insurance claim against an assured value in these price depressed times !
  10. I got mine when I was 56...... But I think age is just a state of mind, the number of years you've lived brings experience, and hopefull wealth and happiness An it's still the best toy I've ever had
  11. Try this link.... http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html It tells you the profile to keep the rolling circumference the same if you increase wheel size
  12. When they first came out..... I was walking in Muswell Hill and saw the rear of a yellow one and thought it was a GT40 ! Went to have a closer look and fell in love with it then. Couldn't afford one Had a couple of 3 litre Capris and 2.8 one and eventually bought a brand new XR4 then a couple of Granada Cossies and now at last I've got a ZED ! At long last.... Best Toy I've ever had - LOVE IT
  13. I use Rozza Silicone ones and they are superb.....
  14. well.... I hate to say it but your best Zed garage is probably a jaunt across the A14 and up the M6 to Zedworld in Tamworth.... They are the best in the UK in my opinion
  15. I use mine every day and it's fine....
  16. Hi Leigh Mar 29ths a Sunday.... is that right ?
  17. does it run rough on idle...... ther is a small brass pipe coming off the plenum that if that pipe has come off it it'll run very ragged when idling and lose power on revving
