u dont need to do the whole lot just the solonoids to disconect & vac pipes in the aiv system capped off no need to take the wings off unless u wanna save weight etc !

then they need to bulk sell them if they aim on selling 50 units lets say in the uk then they should make & supply them in one go rather than one here & there ...this way if it does get copied the've made there money & wont be too bothered or beter still get a uk patent

if it aint released over here it aint copying ;-) as u would be the first in the uk plus it dont have to be identical there;s not much to copy tbh its just a difuser but smoothed & blended in (i know its more than that but in laymen terms)

just had another look at your large phot on page 1 & also looks like a split vacuume pipe to the brake servo just above the servo where it says (4WAS) there is a joint & the pipe on the right of it looks split??? ...all these little leaks could be adding up to a large boost leak if u get me? & either way they should be sorted as i found out on mine ...it just a process of ellimination

bypass them mate u dont really need them ...there is a great web page with all little jobs like this posted on them for the life of me i cant remember it ...im sure someone will know what im on about & post the link!! it has aiv delete/ egr delet etc etc all photographed & well written so easy to follow!.. ps glad i helped find one leak lol:tooth:

yes this is true but also could be the loom ...this happend to me i put new loom in & hey presto they work!!!

im no fabricator or fibre glasser but surely someone over hear could make that??? & by the looks of it at a hell of a profit....in walks Car.Mad!!!

excessive corrosion in a 'prescribed area' — within 30 cms of certain safety related components, e.g. brakes, steering, suspension, seat belt mountings etc. maybe this might be what he meant??? is there rust within a foot of the seat belt anchore?

you could just take the pads out & try to free them up by working them out then using 1200 grit paper & some wd40 around the cylinders just to free them up ...this worked on my crx fine

it says where attached to seat: so does it mean the seat belt harness where it bolts to the seat itself might be rusty?

i would do the brakes & the other REAL fails & take it else where

anothe trick for finding a boost leak is with the engine running spray wd40 around every joint & gasket eg. throttle bodies/ idle control valve(back right of plenum) etc u will hear revs change if there is a leak & may see wd40 getting sucked in?? ps ditch the dice valve caps & pick up your tax disc rubish off the floor lol:tt2::sneaky2:

they can tell there binding 2 ways one when they jack the car up & spin wheels. two, when they put it on the brake rollers it would measure some resistance! as for the anchor point is it not rusty under the car?

[ATTACH]53978[/ATTACH] i have marked a couple of suspect pipes from what i can see in the photo & its just a guess but the one marked top left of pic looks like a joining piece but from photo it seems to have a open end? (could be my eyes) also check the pipes by the throttle bodies there is a little pipe under them where a vac pipe should be attached? if u look at these points on your bigger photo on page one u can see clearer what im trying to point out!
